Here are the valves... cylinder 4 doesn't look worse than the others.
Haven't pulled the injectors yet.
Going shopping for walnut media now...

All done pretty much. Valves soaked for a few hours and cleaned. Not too bad, but still decided to walnut blast. Not as hard as I thought. Anyway, they look good now.

Got everything done and I start the car, seems all good until I smell gas

There's a leak in the hard line that feeds the fuel rail. I think it comes from the pump?
I tightened the nut on the injector more, but still. Leaks from the pump side. The foam isolator is all wet.
For some reason I CANNOT find a way to tighten the nut on the pump... whether the angle is weird, or the foam, or something

The only thing I did over there was put a screwdriver between the foam and the bracket that holds it to the intake manifold to have more room remove the manifold

any inputs?

That hard line that runs to the fuel rail "Should be replaced" when removed per GM. I had to remove my HP pump to fix an oil leak and reused the line without issue. I would think they want it replaced as a liability thing.

Take a picture of the nut you are talking about.

Ordered it last night, will have it tomorrow
That being said, I double checked and actually the other hard line on the pump was loose.
Now all good

Now, good news and bad news

The car starts and runs, that's good
Still misfires... cylinder misfire error code, that's bad.
Now it's cylinder #3.. I swapped injector 4 with injector 3... SO looks like the injector is bad at this point. It happened in the first test run. Will wait a few more days and more miles to see if now it's only cylinder 3 misfiring. This is kinda good if it confirms the injector is the problem

While you have good news bad news you seem to have figured out what the issue is and that's good.

Yep... that's good
Today again, cylinder 3 misfire.
I guess it would make sense just change all 4 together instead of just 1?

So far issue solved
Replaced all 4 injectors, car runs smooth again
When I pulled the old ones after 2 weeks of use (after cleaning) they were pretty soothy... and found some oil in the intake too

Anyway... torque is back to 310+ ftlb, idle is smoother, boost is 18-19psi tops I believe, but does not drop and is more constant.

Thanks for the support
