Air Intake Hose/GMPP Intake
#11
That link in post 3 was the link to the eBay listing I bought mine from. When I saw there was only 2 left I jumped on it ASAP. I guess the other one sold. The intake duct hose is a 3" chrome from spectre performance. $30 plus free shipping sure beats $52 + shipping for the wooly worm at GMPartsDirect.
Now to get the Valve cover painted so it doesn't look so nasty!

sorry..i meant performance wise.
the gmpp is much more expensive when they both look to be built the same just different logos. Wondering if there is any numbers to go with either one

And skyline26, I'm not to sure about power difference, but either option you take will still be minimal. I do know reading up on intakes other forum members mentioned the GMPP intake is the only one that uses an un-oiled filter, is sealed, and breaths outside air. Not sure if the K&N requires oiling, but I've also read you have to be careful as the filter oil can get in/on the sensors and cause codes to come up. Plus if I ever found my dream 2010 HHR SS and had to get rid of my LT, a potential buyer or dealership might feel more at ease when they see the upgrades are labeled as GM parts.

Hey Skyline26 - it looks like this site may have the GMPP CAI. I would recommend contacting them first to make sure they still have some in stock before you purchase.
