Ok. So here they are... Not the best job but these are before having the mandrel bends welded.
Above you can see that I used the stock MAF Housing. It also drops to the driver side since the passenger side has no room.
Close up of pipe to show clearance. Not a whole lot of room here.
Filter behind the louvered covers (cover removed).
Anyone have anything to question let me know. Haven't tested the Dyno numbers yet. I will have to get with the shop that helped with my mandrel bent intake to get on their dyno and get some numbers! Hopefully soon. (money's a little tight)

Ok. Lets se if I can get all Q's at once. The filter has all the covers except the front louvered thing over it. Only water getting in is from the hole where the cover was and unless I drop the whole front end into a puddle there is no risk of Hydro-lock. Yes I can feel a difference. Big difference with fuel econ when not gunning it to hear it scream. Gained about 2mpg! No prob's with dipstick. Filter won't get beat up its nice and sturdy. Little hole to aim for anyway. Mine is a 5spd and the only shifting problems are with the loose nut behind the wheel. My CEL has never turned on. Thinking about the screen. Probably doing something a little different and more custom once I pick a grill. Thanks for all the + feedback so far! This is by far one of the hardest intakes I have had to fabricate. Once I got the mandrel bends done and welded it was so much easier just to pop it in. I also made the pipe the drops to the fender a 1 piece. I can remove and turn the intake toward the back and throw the filter on in case the roads flood so I don't suck up any water!
