[19159206] GMPP Air Intake - Filter Question
Hi Ho,
i've got the GMPP Air Intake (GM Part# 19159206) in my 08'HHR.
- Can anybody told me what's the Part# - only for the Filter !
I do not need one yet, but maybe, one day i need one
Or is it possible to replace the Filter with another one from another manufactor like K&N or something like that ?!?!?
Thanks in advance
Mateng
P.S.: Sorry for my bad english - i'am a german HHR driver

You MAY wish to reexamine your request. Most of, if not all, the filters that I know of are washable.....that is, if it is the GMPP original filter.
I believe a member here, greybeard I think, purchased and extra one, "just in case". But I think he said they are practically nonexistent.
You can use any filter you wish as long as it fits in the box, attach's to the hose correctly and provides, at least, the necessary filter area of the original. Make sure it is not a flimsy "toilet tissue' paper that allows particulates to pass into the engine.

The GMPP airbox uses an AEM Dryflow* filter.. & as Snoopy stated, they are washable. Require NO OILING.
You just use warm water & dish soap, Then Gently Rinse & let dry thoroughly..
These filters are made to last a lifetime...
