Headlight film tint.

I decided to buy these headlight film covers for my SS, they give a light smoke look and are far less expensive. Only cost ten bucks from a company in Florida, love the quality and tint. Has anyone used headlight film covers before and should I install LED lights, or just spend the extra paper and buy Depos? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Tyler-

a couple members that posted doing the film overlay, removed it due to poor light transmitting thru...

Most likely illegal anyhow..

Just sayin..

Sleeper, I thought of the poor lighting. I could cut the film to fit my side markers. At least I could get some value out of them.

I put some on and took it off two days later because i could not even see the lights hit the road in front of me. Looked good installed but had almost NO light output.

I used the film. Light output went away. Replaced with Depo lights later.

When I first bought mine...the headlights were tinted with the same film. I took it off. It was a little tricky to see out of at night (even with HID's)...and honestly...I like a nice clean headlamp....and the tint just made them look "dirty". The DEPO's are super nice....and really give the car more of an attitude
