HHR Panel - Rear Door Interior Panel Removal

Okay kids... If I missed this in the search tool I apologize. Has anyone done a tutorial for removing the full door panels that are on the HHR Panels?

I pulled the (3) plugs off the top.
Removed the single screw in the handle.
Small plug on the outside.

Help me from there please.

Thanks.

I don't have a panel, but on the normal 4 door, there are two screws, one at the handle that opens the door, and the other at the door grip. I would suspect it is the latter you are missing. I'm checking out some info out but thought this might help in the interim..

RFT - On a Panel there is no door pull, so no screws there.

On the door panel clips (darts that plug into the metal part of the door) there is a white plastic washer. Does the panel tool go under the washer (between the metal and the washer) or above it? ......Anyone?

I currently have the door panels off my panel. I didn't remove them, so I can't say much, but I can take pictures if that help.

Sorry, I knew that but would expect the door frame to be the same. My thought is a second screw is hidden under a panel similar to the door handle you found.

Rubics: Yeah, photos would probably help so we can see the frame.. the screw I am thinking of would be accessed on the vertical plane versus horizontal.

There is no removable panels on the panel doors. They are just blank.

mongo, There is a full height, one piece, plastic interior door panel on the HHR Panel. It has the rear speaker in it as well as the exit handle. Im trying to get the panel off so I can change the speaker. I do NOT want to break anything... so I am being cautious.

Sorry, I was referring to a 'panel' that would be where the door pull handle is on a windowed HHR..

Rubics, could you shoot a pic of the door panel that shows the darts that go into the door. That'll help me know the area to protect. thanks

I've had mine off, but I don't recall the process. I'll check when I get home if it's not raining.
