Paint chip repair

So... my car has a few paint chips. Nothing major, but they bug me. I've done some searching through this site and keep seeing recommendations for Dr. Paintchip, but tbh, their demo videos and results look kinda half-assed. I have the matched paint pen from AC Delco, but was wondering if there were any hints and tips to making it look the best that I can. Thanks.

I tried the AC Delco paint pin for Victory Red. Wasn't impressed. It seemed to me to the repaired spot dried a little darker than the surrounding paint.

I had the same issue, darker when dried. I have a Victory Red Camaro and had the very same results. Having said that, it still was far better than the other fore mentioned paint. I found that the GM paint repair eventually faded and matched the original, just apply it in many small light steps allowing full cure between applications.

I have used about everything. Factory paint works well, but so does DR color chip. The main thing is DR color chip is much faster drying and easier to clean up and can easily cover a lot of chips by just smearing it on.
