Smile Wheel lugnut torque needed:

I'm putting 18" Motegi Racing SP5's on my 08 HHR. I'm using tuner type nuts and want to know the correct torque.

Anyone know?

Cheers!

Krusty.

P.S. if anyone is contemplating new wheels, go to www.tirerack.com
You can view any rim/tire combination on ANY vehicle, so you'll know exactly how they'll look BEFORE you buy em'!

I would suggest contacting TireRack. They probably would offer a better suggestion, based on your wheel and car, than the variety of members.

For example, I would suggest doing what GM recommends, 100 ft/#, but what do I know ???

Enough, Snoopy!!

I am surprised that you did not (in a politically correct way!) suggest to RTFM though!

As usual, Snoopy knows what he is talking about. 100 ft# is correct from GM.
