I can see 6-8 weeks, but not much more. But even if they don't start taking orders until Dec, 19th wich is a lte in the fall as you can get, you would still be saying there will be a 5-6 month build time>:roll:

The gentleman who orders all the new cars for the dealership I work for. If you pre-order obviously you would get them sooner, the ones we are getting are set to arrive late spring. Could just be my dealership though, we deal a LOT with commercial vehicles, so Trucks, SUVs, and Commercial Vehicles get first priority.

I was told my SS would be delivered this year in the fall. Just have to see.

If it won't arrive until spring, why wouldn't they just call it a 2009?

yeah when i think late fall i think late oct. to dec.

It has changed several times, I was told when I got the 2008 brochure "probably Sep. or Oct." now it is "Late/Mid Summer" So really the answer is, "we don't know until the truck brings one" which is the answer to the OP question. :smile:

They told me that they just got official confirmation that Chevrolet will start accepting orders for ONLY (yes, they specifically said "ONLY") the manual transmission versions of the HHR SS in November, with an arrival date sometime around January.

The answer no matter what anyone says is Fall 2008, that is all the salesmen know right now too. Anything else is speculation.
