That falls into the time line like what most others are stating. "Late 2007"

If I remember correctly from the pics of the HHR SS the speedometer does go up to 140.

If they are going to arrive at the absolute latest in December, that must mean that they will be taking orders in October.

Race-inspired cluster graphics with 140-mph speedometer
So much for 150mph:red:

Did you see the dodge Caiber SRT4 on that page ? Quite a little monster they have,285 hp,19 wheels, and a Turbo. Looks like Dodge is competing. $22,000. I don't like the style of it. I'll wait for the HHR/SS.

Thanks for clearing that up.

What? Shoot the messenger?

IMHO I think that Motor Trend got confused and they should have said “ available to order” or “the start of production date” info that has been previously suggested at, but really only GM (maybe) knows for sure..

And it was a slow day in the Rocky Mountains and on the SS thread anyway. ;)

Just because the Caliber SRT4 has more power, doesn't make it a faster car. The HHR SS has the fastest lap time on the "Ring" for its class. I agree, the Caliber is ugly.

hey man, it's all good.
I'm just a little excited about the new HHR SS and b/c it's clearance time and they're blowing out the '07s, Chevy is keeping everything close to the vest.

Another update from my dealer... the automatic transmission versions of the HHR will be able to be ordered in December with an arrival date in late January.
