View Full Version : The HHR SS arrives in dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2007. Old Ray 08-29-2007, 03:38 PM What does Motor Trend know? http://www.trucktrend.com/multimedia/wallpaper/163_0708_2008_chevrolet_hhr_ss_photo_gallery/ solman98 08-29-2007, 03:43 PM That falls into the time line like what most others are stating. "Late 2007" shaginwgn 08-29-2007, 03:46 PM Also say that hhr ss has 140 mph speedometer while bob lutz says they will go 150mph:roll: captain howdy 08-29-2007, 03:49 PM Also say that hhr ss has 140 mph speedometer while bob lutz says they will go 150mph:roll: If I remember correctly from the pics of the HHR SS the speedometer does go up to 140. misterjensen 08-29-2007, 03:49 PM If they are going to arrive at the absolute latest in December, that must mean that they will be taking orders in October. shaginwgn 08-29-2007, 03:58 PM Race-inspired cluster graphics with 140-mph speedometer So much for 150mph:red: HHR Man 08-29-2007, 05:28 PM Did you see the dodge Caiber SRT4 on that page ? Quite a little monster they have,285 hp,19 wheels, and a Turbo. Looks like Dodge is competing. $22,000. I don't like the style of it. I'll wait for the HHR/SS. MOTRV8D 08-29-2007, 06:01 PM The HHR SS arrives in dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2007. Thanks for clearing that up. Sure narrows it down, doesn't it? captain howdy 08-29-2007, 06:10 PM Looks like Dodge is competing. It's the other way around. Old Ray 08-29-2007, 06:39 PM Thanks for clearing that up. Sure narrows it down, doesn't it? What? Shoot the messenger? IMHO I think that Motor Trend got confused and they should have said “ available to order” or “the start of production date” info that has been previously suggested at, but really only GM (maybe) knows for sure.. And it was a slow day in the Rocky Mountains and on the SS thread anyway. ;) chingchonger 08-29-2007, 06:54 PM Did you see the dodge Caiber SRT4 on that page ? Just because the Caliber SRT4 has more power, doesn't make it a faster car. The HHR SS has the fastest lap time on the "Ring" for its class. I agree, the Caliber is ugly. I'm just a little excited about the new HHR SS and b/c it's clearance time and they're blowing out the '07s, Chevy is keeping everything close to the vest. misterjensen 08-30-2007, 06:42 PM Another update from my dealer... the automatic transmission versions of the HHR will be able to be ordered in December with an arrival date in late January. |
