View Full Version : To all the Dallas Area Peeps
txsman2930 03-01-2006, 10:37 PM It looks like I may be moving from Austin to the Dallas area by late Summer. The company I work for is moving its office to Frisco. Any of y'all been to Frisco, and is there anything to do in Frisco, other than going to see the minor league baseball team?

Cruisers, huh? Excellent! I'll add that to my list. Thanks, again, CJ.
cowboybornlate 04-17-2006, 12:02 PM Frisco is a nice area Tx! Sort of replaced Plano from years ago of being THE place to live. Kind of high prices on real estate tho. I work in the area. You might think about living in one of the other suburbs in the area that are not quite so pricey. I have employees that live in the smaller rural areas. Just north of Frisco there are several communities that are really nice... hit me with a PM or email and I can give you more info...

I'm sure there has to be a car show or two in Dallas somewhere. There seems to be one just about every weekend.

OK, I have never lived east of the Sierra Nevada's, but I never knew there was an actual city called Frisco  . I think it is more embarrasing to myself, but I thought you were referring to San Francisco, as that is what most people from Northern California call it - "Frisco". :red:
I hope to not offend anyone, and my apologies in advance to anyone that it does. :D
Gotta let folks know that there is an actual place called that....
txsman2930 04-17-2006, 04:07 PM LOL...You're not the only one. When I told my friends and family that I was moving to Frisco. They all had the same reaction. "Why are you moving to California?" ..I woud tell them it's Frisco, TX, and they would say "Where the hell is that?" ...First, I've had to explain what my HHR was, and now I have to explain the town I'm moving to. It's been a year of a lot of explaining so far. But all I have to say is that Texas is so huge, you can travel Europe and not leave the state. Want to go to Greece, just travel on down the road to Athens, TX. France? No problem. We have you covered. You can drive to Paris, TX. Feel like italian? You guessed it, we have an Italy, TX. The world at our fingertips.
j1solutions 06-18-2006, 02:35 PM I work at Stonebriar Chevrolet in Frisco. Let me know if your HRR needs service, I'd be glad to help. My wife has had her HRR for a week now- I did a lot of research before our purchase. These are a great vehicle for the money.
