JonnyB, I've experienced slow response at times lately.

I've got a rock solid cable service at 15/2 Mbps dn/up. In running Ping Plotter a few times when I saw the lag, I saw no problems. Ping times were good and no packet loss. Other sites responded fine.

One night I was on the phone with another forum member and he commented that he was experiencing the same occasionally.

There appears to be a problem.

BTW, great site!!!

i dont know what cell phone company you are with, but i know sprint offers a wireless internet access, it might be a better choice than dialup. You cant even get satelite high speed?

Digital cable at home with wireless router, Aircard by Sprint when away from home. Lightening fast both places for me....

My problem is I sometimes spend more time on the roas than at home. as in 2 of the last 3 months. I cannot justify 600.00 a year and not be home every day to use it.

I've got a big black wire that goes into the small putty colored box, then a big grey wire that goes to a silver box, then another big black wire that goes into the big grey box. Never have had a problem with loading time or anything. And my TV reception is flawless. (Charter went all digital late last year) Must be those Ohio/Virginia sun spots I have read so much about that may be causing your problems. ;)

Yeah I have got a weird lag a few times lately. I know it's not my connection because any other site works fine. I'll hit the post button and it will linger for a couple of minutes.
