has anyone heard if the SS will be available in panel truck body style?

It would look clean and most likely have better perfromance than the 5 seater because of the lighter weight. and how sick would that be to drive one of those around as a delievery guy.

Chevy is playing their cards pretty close to the vest on the HHR SS as of late. Not much new news, so they haven't confirmed that it will be offered in a panel version. My best guess is that since they haven't announced an SS Panel, then it will not be available as an 08 model.

And unless there is a big cry for it, or let's say they sell a LOT more of the SS versions than they expect, then we'll never see a factory SS Panel. Even though most of us on this board would agree an SS Panel would be way cool. jmho.

thanx for the info. I just went to see the panel in person today, and the space on the inside was surprising. they seem popular as there were two other people there when I was looking at it.

I was down in Warren, MI last week and saw a blue panel SS going the other way. Front end looks nice, and wished I could have done a 180 to get closer, but was already late for work.
