View Full Version : How much did you pay for your HHR? JonyyB 10-13-2005, 02:31 PM Before tax and fees. adamlowery 10-13-2005, 04:40 PM I paid $17,109. I got a 1LT with every option besides leather, sunroof, and the bigger engine. I didn't get them because of cash reasons. With my gm discount it wouldnt have been much. I just didnt want them options. mrbcruzn 10-13-2005, 05:30 PM Looks like the graph is set up for LS and LT cars, the basic LS sells for about $17K and the LT2 sells around $22-$24 pretty loaded. teknobunie 10-13-2005, 10:32 PM I got the 2LT, sunroof, leather, better rims & tires, 6 CD changer & better radio, 6 inch (wow) sub, and every other option that I can't even rememer right now. I don't have the running boards (will soon), the roof rack & onstar, and I paid $23 for mine. I feel I got a lot of options, always seems like I am going "oh yeah, I forgot it had a...." LOL! SIHHR 10-14-2005, 01:31 PM I paid 23K for my 2LT with sunroof, spoiler, better rims & Tires, 6 CD changer w/ Better radio. I did not get the running boards or roof Rack either. No Leather and no heated seats either. But I do have the leather wrap steering whell and shifter. JoeR 10-15-2005, 08:50 AM Given the wide range of options and prices on the HHR, I would suggest a poll that reflects how much over or under MSRP people have paid. That info would be much more meaningful, especially to those who are ready to face their local dealer on a new one. JonyyB 10-15-2005, 01:01 PM Given the wide range of options and prices on the HHR, I would suggest a poll that reflects how much over or under MSRP people have paid. That info would be much more meaningful, especially to those who are ready to face their local dealer on a new one. Good idea :) Feel free to start one in this section adamlowery 10-15-2005, 02:09 PM I paid almost 3,000 under msrp b/c of my gm discount. jx3 10-20-2005, 12:27 AM $24k for the 2LT. FULLY loaded minus rear spoiler and smoker's pkg. Has upgraded rims, running boards, 6 disc indash changer, am/fm/xm, fog lights, roof rails, power driver seat, heated seats, pioneer stereo w/sub woofer. fenris222 10-26-2005, 07:31 PM I got my Black 2LT for $19,520.88. I got the preferred package, and everything else except OnStar, XMS, Sunroof, Leather Seats, Roof Rails, and I sold the spoiler, would have knocked another $395.00 off the sticker. My GMID discount was upgraded to the Employee Discount by the dealer which saved me $2194.22. The original price when I ordered was $21,715.00. Fenris222 OZONE 10-27-2005, 06:04 PM I paid $22300.00 before tax and tip for a black 2lt with running boards, auto trans, 6 disk radio, 7 speaker sound, 17" polished wheels, Prem mats, step pads, smokers pkg, XM, sun roof, roof rails, and side air bags. LandShark 11-15-2005, 08:35 PM Hello HHR peeps... :D This is my first post. Looking to buy an HHR within the next 3 months. Does anyone know what would be the best price to expect for the base model with the new Red Tag Discount? JoeR 11-15-2005, 09:05 PM Go to Chevy's site and price one out. At the end you can see the Red Tag price. LandShark 11-17-2005, 04:00 PM Is it unlikely that any dealer would offer a price below the "Red Tag" price? I priced out an LS and with an automatic it came out to $16,250 or so... Is there anyone that has paid less than that for an HHR? Thanks Again  HHR4LSU 11-21-2005, 11:37 AM MSRP:$24,765 PAID:$22,898 I felt like I was getting a good deal JLYNNFL 11-23-2005, 04:58 PM MSRP was $23,285 price before taxs etc was $20,855.38 and otd price is $22,536.00. CanadianHHR 11-25-2005, 10:35 PM 1LT with Tax and everything it came out to 33,000 Canadain, Which is like 1 dollar american .. lol :D mattdaddy 11-26-2005, 12:19 PM LT w/ 1SB (same as 2LT) Plus; Electromchromic Rearview Mirror Remote Starter Automatic Tranny Sunroof MSRP $27215 (CDN) Supplier Rate $25235 Minus GM Card Points -$1260 Minus Ring in & Win -$500 Grand Total $23475 + Tax (CDN) At current exchange rates that's $20,066 USD captain howdy 11-26-2005, 01:16 PM You guys have to option in the remote starter up in Canada? If you get an auto here in America they give it to you along with the auto option regardless of what trim level you get. They include the mirror in the 2LT package here in America but you can option it on the LS or 1LT. If you get an auto here in America they give it to you along with the auto option regardless of what trim level you get. They include the mirror in the 2LT package here in America but you can option it on the LS or 1LT. heated mirror you mean? if theres an option for that , be sweet... and yes we have the remote starter. I think Cnd model and US are both the same. captain howdy 11-27-2005, 09:35 AM But do they just include it with the auto transmission or do you have to order it as an option. No, the auto-dimming compass mirror is what I meant but I would have loved if Chevy offered heated mirrors. mattdaddy 11-27-2005, 11:03 AM But do they just include it with the auto transmission or do you have to order it as an option. No, the auto-dimming compass mirror is what I meant but I would have loved if Chevy offered heated mirrors. It's listed as two different line items, with a cost attached to each (IN canuck money). $1250 for Auto Tranny $255 for Remote Starter The configurator at www.gmcanada.com let's you choose each one separately. I believe US configurations bundle the pricing. captain howdy 11-27-2005, 11:21 AM It's listed as two different line items, with a cost attached to each (IN canuck money). $1250 for Auto Tranny $255 for Remote Starter The configurator at www.gmcanada.com let's you choose each one separately. I believe US configurations bundle the pricing. I don't know the conversion rate but I guess that sounds right. I paid $1000 American for auto trans. with auto start. They probably should have done that here in America. I'm sure not everyone that took the auto trans. would have taken the remote starter. Pizzaman 01-06-2006, 01:59 AM I was lucky enough to get my HHR 1lt 2.2 automatic with heated leather, sunroof, fog lights, upgrade 6 disc changer with xm, running boards, rear spoiler and both sets of premium mats for $20,793.51 dealer paid my tax. adamlowery 01-06-2006, 10:05 AM not bad at all. I got a 1LT chrome option roof rails auto trans and fog lights for 17,112. Money wasn't really an option considering it was my first new car. I didnt get a sunroof b/c it wasn't big enough, I want one the length of the car :). I am going to get the seats redone in 2 tone leather so spending money on leather seatss would be stupid. The only thing I didnt get was running boards b/c I woulda had to wait an extra week. I can still get them now but itd be about 600 bucks from my dealer. fenris222 01-06-2006, 11:21 AM You can get them for less at GM Parts Direct. I know some people have had bad experiences withthis outfit, but my purchases have been event free and as advertised. I think they are in the $400+ dollar range mebbe $415-475.00 not sure though.... SnowHHR 01-06-2006, 10:50 PM Sunburst Orange 1LT, 2.2 all leather with heated seats, roof rails, auto with auto start, running boards, 1yr XM radio. I drove over 100 miles to pick it up but it was worth it. MSRP $21,791, paid after 5.9% fin. and T/T/L $21,109. Everywhere else in DFW area was asking about $22000 for a base 1LT. snksknr94 01-09-2006, 05:49 PM I paid 22,100 with all the fees. Sticker was 22,700. Before fees I was just under 20k, due to my employee discount. I have a loaded 2LT with everything but the running board, side air bags, and on-star. PerryHallHHR 01-09-2006, 09:14 PM Mine was $19,970 MSRP; got it for just a couple dollars above $19,000 after fees with the Red Tag event. Clarke33 01-21-2006, 10:30 PM I ordered mine 1-17-06. Daytona Blue with 2LT package and the following options: Gray heated leather, side airbags, roof rails, polished wheels, sunroof, and I kept the standard 5 speed. Sticker price included dealer prep. dawnshhr 01-24-2006, 10:50 AM I paid total tax title and doc fee/ $17,286. Sticker was just over $18,000. But with my x-plan buyers discount and some $$ down Id say I got a good deal. I got the 2LT sport red automatic. fully loaded. Love the car. HHR4LSU 01-24-2006, 12:45 PM I paid total tax title and doc fee/ $17,286. Sticker was just over $18,000. But with my x-plan buyers discount and some $$ down Id say I got a good deal. I got the 2LT sport red automatic. fully loaded. Love the car. There is no way that you have a 2LT fully loaded with a sticker of $18,000. I have a fully loaded 2LT and the sticker was $24,765. Some part of this equation isn't adding up..... snksknr94 01-24-2006, 12:50 PM My 2LT was loaded with everything but on-star, side bags, and running boards. MSRP was just under 23k. captain howdy 01-24-2006, 01:11 PM There is no way that you have a 2LT fully loaded with a sticker of $18,000. I agree. I have a 2LT with everything but OnStar, XM, spoiler, leather, and side airbags. My sticker price was $22,220. I paid way less than the sticker, but that was the price listed on it. Maybe a fully loaded LS runs about $18,000? PerryHallHHR 01-24-2006, 04:08 PM Even a stripper 2LT is nearly $19,000 sticker. My 1LT was just under $20,000 sticker and mine doesn't even have ABS or SAB. A well-equipped LS with Auto, ABS, SAB, and OnStar is $18,380 MSRP. erf2u 01-27-2006, 10:46 PM The only option I did not get was the XM radio, auto trans, and remote start. I also got several of the dealer installed options as well. MSRP was at $23,900. But after Red Tag, got it for a little over $21K. Wraith35 01-29-2006, 11:28 PM My 2Lt had everything cept XM,onstar, boards and the wing it stickered for $22,600 with the GM discount I get I paid $20,000 captain howdy 01-30-2006, 06:38 AM i got window tint free Window tint is free on everyones HHR. The windows on every HHR come from the factory tinted. Haven't you noticed that yet or did you think we all got the window tint package? :p: The only windows Chevy didn't tint are the front window, drivers side front window, and passengers side front window. ;) kodak_jack 02-27-2006, 10:17 AM What gives on the polls? I've been on here for 5 minutes and each time I go to the HOME page, there's a different poll on there (3 so far). How do you switch from one to another or look at all of them on here? cliffy97 03-24-2006, 10:41 PM 20,460 with GM supplier discount. - 2LT with all but Spolier/Running boards/Onstar ( Really wanted) and leather TomsHHR 03-25-2006, 06:56 AM I got the 1LT MY msrp WAS $19310. With the card and my trade of my Grand Am along with seat protection and undercoating and paint protection (Deer took care of that) I got mine close to $14600. mrbowtie 03-27-2006, 04:16 PM I just bought mine, I love it. I paid 23,080. Fully loaded. 2LT Xm, Onstar, heated leather seats, running boards, chrome package including rims, sunroof, sound system. I think the only things I did not get was the rear spoiler, mud guards, and premium mats WA_HHR 04-06-2006, 09:48 PM I got mine in nov. under the red tag sale: a 1lt with only 2.4 motor, auto trans, and chrome package. no down no trade, before t/t/L, $18038 "Humpty Dumpty was pushed!!!!!!" cj krause 04-06-2006, 10:38 PM i paid 18,200 finished price and it reads 19,990 on the sticker and on the window tinting,,, i got the front done free. i just didnt get the real dark,,, i dont like it dark on the front windows,, i got more clear but still with the ability to knock out the UV rays to protect the front part of the cabin. that is what i wanted,,, when you are 52, you need all the light you can get. i take herbs to help with the macula and light and since taking it, the light and eyesight are alot better. you will say, 19,900 is alot for an LS but it had all kinds of goodies, running boards, mudflaps, rear bumper protector, premium mats, premium sound, side air bags, traction control and ABS and i wanted cloth seats and a 2.2. i really dont like all the radio controls on the steering wheel so when this came in, it was a loaded LS and like all things have a fit,,, this was mine and perfect for modding for me. i didnt want to pay for window etching but they already had it on the HHR so i backed out and they didnt make me pay for it after all. i actually got them to write up an agreement that i am not paying for any extras page and we both signed it. to me the window etching is a real rip off and so it is there just not registered which is the main cost. this was the 3rd car I purchased from them in 15 months and i wanted a straight deal, no frills no extra cost. dan-d 04-06-2006, 11:18 PM I paid $18,100.00 otd for mine. It's a 1LT, chrome pkg, fog lamps, 2.4L upgrade, running boards, and roof rails. That only amounted to about a $500.00 discount, but I didn't pay any dealer fees either. wehave2hhrs 04-07-2006, 12:05 AM we paid $22,000. + tax&lic , it has up grade mats ,mud flaps, rear bumper insert, onstar,xm,car phone, auto trans, only missing wing,6disc,smoker set up, we just went to the dealer are summit white one is coming from and confirmed the same $$$ for it :thumb: but it has 6disc this tym ,and all weather matts, i like them in are 1st one , gilroy ca! Adogg9626 04-08-2006, 10:44 PM I hate to do this to ya guys, but I think I beat every one. Bought my 2LT back in November, everything on it except OnStar and satellite radio (i wont pay for it and I have an iPod). Traded in my beloved Mazda Protege5 (Yuki, I miss you!!!) and got a cool 8500 bucks (car had 69K miles on it, also loaded). After supplier pricing and whittling the dealer down, came out of the door at 18756 and financed at 20,750K (stupid 7.84 finance). Sticker was 23K. All I can say is I got one helluva deal. Long live HHR and kudos to all HHR owners. dan-d 04-09-2006, 12:20 AM I hate to do this to ya guys, but I think I beat every one. GhstRider 07-26-2006, 02:41 AM After all the paper work I am paying $20,080 w/ 0% financing. That is for a LT1 w/running boards and chrome roof rack :) -md- HHR 07-26-2006, 08:02 AM After taxes and all said and done with 5 speed, lt, and no running boards. $16,390.47. :thumb: Got to love when dealer messes up. I orderd a black LS and then they got in a black LT. After a little discusion. They said I could buy it for the same cost that the LS was because they messed up. :D OrangeHHR 07-26-2006, 08:56 AM 1LT base model, 5 speed out the door for $15,136.56. Thanks to GM Card, I still have one of the original cards, I was able to apply the $1500 I had earned for the downpayment. The dealer had it on the lot for 5 months or so. Appears nobody in the greater Baltimore/DC area wanted a manual. :D DaJoker 07-26-2006, 09:46 AM Mine was 20,340 (21,300 out the door with taxes/title), MSRP of 22,318. Fritch 07-26-2006, 11:12 AM thanks to GMS pricing and such I got my 1LT w/ leather and automatic for just under 17k. I'd have to actually look again to remember the exact price. Desert Coyote 07-28-2006, 10:12 AM Before taxes, fees and a $1000 security package, it would have been about $16,250 with my wife's employee discount. carrizojim 07-28-2006, 02:49 PM I got a 2LT, pretty much with everything but the funky spoiler and running boards. Onstar, side airbags, leather, etc... for $20,300 after GM employee discount... greyghost 08-20-2006, 02:37 PM I have an LS with XM, Pioneer and ABS with manual tranny. My rig also had the GM accessory splashguards added. It's a GM Certified Pre-owned with 3,600 miles on it. I was going to buy new since I am GMS but the Chevy saleskid annoyed me and found this one at a "good" dealership. The first owner had a change in lifestyle so I picked up (I think) a good deal. Now with 14,000 miles on it I could not be happier with my HHR, It turns heads, and I love the comments I get as well. :thumb: I've added on chrome rims, window visors, and iced letters, tail light rings, a billet grille is next. I still have the polished 17" rims for sale if any one is interested. PM me if you're interested. Mint condition. Couldn't be happier!!!:hhr: thehizzle06 03-15-2007, 05:51 PM I paid $12,500 for my 2006 1LT. It was a rental car for Enterprize. HillsdaleHHR 03-15-2007, 05:57 PM http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g22/hollyeclark1/af67ea7d.gif to the site thehizzle06!! How many miles on your HHR when purchased with what options? thehizzle06 03-16-2007, 12:55 AM It had 24,500 miles on it. Base 1LT options, power drivers seat, cd/mp3 with rds, aluminum wheels, carpeting in cargo area. Just a base model. Got it for a good price though. The $12,500 was after trade in and down payment of course. Oh, I also forgot that it was an automatic with remote starter. HillsdaleHHR 03-16-2007, 10:32 AM I'm thinking that you may have gotten a raw deal. You said $12,500 on a used 2006 LT1 Rental Car with 24,500 miles after trade in and down payment. I'm afraid to ask about the down payment. Did the trade in have negative equity? I'm thinking you could have got a really good deal on a remaining New 2006 HHR LT1. Chris'sHHR 03-16-2007, 04:13 PM I got mine for dealer invoice. My friend is the sales manager of the chevy dealer in Orland park. So my dealer invoice was $18,694. I went on chevys website and built my car just to make sure i had the options I thought i had and the sticker price that poped up was identicle to the sticker price that I saw on the vehicle when I bought it. srlmort 03-18-2007, 11:35 AM The sticker before was 17K. The only thing that came with it was remote start and the auto tranny. I didn't get onstart or XM, I don't make enough money for all that extra stuff. LOL However, I do plan to install running boards, get a new stereo system. I'm also thinking about Onstar because it just sounds like a great idea to have it. Goose 03-18-2007, 11:46 AM 2000 dollar rebate going on now for 2007 LT's Goose dbeatt 03-18-2007, 12:14 PM In the poll I said 25K, but that was after ext warranty, tax, tag, title and paint protectant. So actually I paid about 21K. 2LT with running boards, sunroof, 6 disc cd changer, roof spoiler, molded mud flaps, automatic. Really the only big options I did not get was leather, XM and Onstar. Oh yeah by the way 0.0% financing for 60 months. Desert Coyote 03-18-2007, 12:40 PM Wish I could change my reply on this one. What was the price prior to discussing trade, downpayment etc? Goose badandy519 04-08-2007, 04:16 AM Nope no trades or anything, $15k was my final price. Retail was $18,665 - Invoice was $17,390 or something like that. My salesman met me in the middle at $18k, and the other $3k was all cash back/ GM incentives. I don't have the paperwork right here, but there was $1k customer cash, $1k rebate, and $500 Conquest (not sure what that is/was) and the funny thing... I went in to finish the deal on Saturday, 3/24 and my salesman said that there was another $500 incentive kicking in on 3/26, so he asked if we could just date the paperwork for that Monday. Hmmm, let me think about that for a minute...... And just for a reference point, I googled "conquest bonus" real quick just to see what came up - didn't find that, but found an advertisement for a new '07 LS for $13,997 and that price was good til 3/29/07 http://www.guarantycars.com/pdf/Guaranty%20Shopper,%20P2%20New%20Cars,%20Albany,%2 0Corvallis,%20Eugene,%20Oregon.pdf Goose 04-08-2007, 09:54 AM If I understand correctly, Conquest cash is a 500 rebate if you have a non-GM car in the household. I was looking at HHRs the same time you bought yours and at that time I was told the ONLY rebates available were 1K Rebate and 1K bonus cash. No Conquest, no military rebates. Maybe it is a regional thing? Could you check your paperwork and let me know what that additional 500 dollar rebate that you mentioned (3/26 date) was? A dealer I have been getting quotes from said that the April incentive is 1.5K rebate but that there is now the 500 dollar Conquest in effect. No other deaer I have been working with has mentioned this so far. I wonder if dealers have leeway in applying "rebates" etc in otder to earn business. One dealer was doing invoice pricing minus 500 dollars and then rebate on top of that. I would imagine that they would find other ways to carve you as far as a trade etc if you had one. That ad for the LS seems right as far as the rebates for March. It was 2K for LTs and 1.5K for the LS. What color is your ride? Thanks! Thanks :) No mods planned as yet but getting lots of ideas from seeing what others have done to their's. I like the idea of doing the 3 bar grille so I might pick up a grille to try that on. I will also likely do the window button back light mod. Will also have to get a tranny cooler and a hitch so I can haul my teardrop trailer ;) badandy519 04-08-2007, 07:53 PM If I understand correctly, Conquest cash is a 500 rebate if you have a non-GM car in the household. Goose Yep, you're right - that's why my salesman asked me about my Mustang. I don't have the original offer sheet... The final one has the 1.5k rebate, 1k customer cash and the $500 Conquest. Sorry I can't be of any more help. Maybe it was a regional thing. I was just pricing a new one out on Kelly Blue Book today and in some southern states you can upgrade a LT1 with a free sunroof, spoiler and the premium radio with XM at no extra cost, but only on 5 colors or so. I don't believe that was offered when I purchased mine. Goose 04-08-2007, 08:10 PM Thanks Andy..wow so you got 3500 dollars in rebates and incentives or perhaps I just read that wrong:thumb: Man if so I'm living in the wrong part of the country..well I may just have to wait a bit if only 1.5k is available on rebates right now. Thanks for the info, appreciated  Goose badandy519 04-08-2007, 08:36 PM I apologize Goose, I typed that last one up wrong. The dealership wrote up the deal three different ways, the original, the 2nd one with me putting $500 down and then the final one where they showed the $500 down, but I didn't pay it. I only got $3000 total in cashback/ rebates. They just wrote the final one up with an additional $500 off to offset the $500 downpayment that was on the paperwork. Goose 04-08-2007, 09:20 PM No apology needed Andy! You still got one heck of a deal :thumb: Like I said the best I could do was 2000 rebates and this particular dealer was selling for 500 under invoice. Catch was they also charged 275 for docs and fees  What???? You writing that stuff using platinum ink pal?? Would have been I think 15986 for a 07 HHR with auto and running boards. Deal breaker for me was gray interior (ebony for me!) I'll check out some more of the incentives to see if there is anything else on top of the 1.5K that is running now. My car only has 5,300 miles on it. It was actually $12,800 before I added the boards. I'm on day three with it and love it so far!!!! :thumb: I had a 02 Taurus Wagon before this... and wanted something better on gas... but didn't want to sacrifice the hauling ability. Old Lar 09-28-2007, 10:19 AM The sticker was $18,708.50 for my LT prior to trade in and GM Master card discount. The car cost me $14,300 including taxes, delivery fees and title & license fee. After getting home and reviewing the paper work, the dealer reduced by $600my trade in value (verbal agreement) and upped the final price (verbal agreement) another $400. So I paid $1000 more than I should have. I never saw so much paperwork once the "deal" was made. The dealer went bankrupt six months later (I wonder why)? playgames1970 09-28-2007, 01:23 PM I don't recall the exact figures, but I know it was between the numbers of the lowest range in the poll. That was minus the rebates being given at the time, and some modest discussion about the MSRP vs. sticker vs. holdback. It's was the lowest configuration that could be called LT, though since getting it I've coughed up additional clams to get the stainless steel exhaust tip, the molded splash guards with the near invisible "HHR" logo on them, and the running boards. With those additions I'm content with it and don't think I'll be making any other additions or modifications. AJochum 02-12-2008, 08:44 AM I bought a new '07 Cappauccino Frost Premere Edition which has 2.4, sunroof, automatic, running boards, rear spoiler, two-color cloth interior, 7 speaker radio for $13,600 - brand new! I got the $2500 rebate, $1000 GM loyality and had $3500 on my GM card. I actually had a chance to buy a used GM executive car for $17,900, but they wouldn't take the GM card earnings or the rebates, so I was far better buying new. They had two brand new 2009 LT's still on the lot. Sticker was $23,007 on the chromed out Imperial Blue LT1 (12 miles on it) that I liked. I asked if they would match the GM rebate ($4000) and additional discount ($3945) that was being offered by another local dealer on 2010 LS Automatics. Well, they agreed and I ended up paying $15,062 for mine. Love the ride! Condition1 06-21-2010, 08:01 PM i could not even vote. i did not pay that much. i got 4000 off my LS from the sale going on now, 1000 off for being a toyota owner, and another 1000 off for the gm employee discount (my wife's dad is a retiree). so, 6000 off. i paid in the 13000s before fees and taxes... i could not pass up the deal. loving it so far. PhatBob 06-21-2010, 08:38 PM I couldn't vote either. There needs to be a lower price range. I paid $15,724 before taxes for my LS, with only the $4,000 rebate. And that was after adding $325 for crystal red metallic and $100 for a spare tire. And only 15 miles on it. Started off getting an internet quote, which was $15,299 for aqua blue, but I decided to go with crystal red. Comfortably Numb 06-24-2010, 02:27 AM I paid $4,500 for mine. There isn't even an option close to that in the poll. Doctuh 06-24-2010, 12:25 PM What kind of HHR goes for $4500? Greybeard999 06-24-2010, 12:32 PM A well used one? Doctuh 06-24-2010, 01:12 PM On autotrader.com, there are just 5 HHRs under $5000 nationwide. One is a rebuilt wreck, three are NOT rebuilt, just wrecked. The only one that is not wrecked/salvaged has 155k MILES. I guess yours is like the last one? PrairieHHR 06-26-2010, 08:40 PM 16,980 before tax/etc 2006 2LT used with 24,000 km on it at the time. They put on new struts for me before hand, and the free running boards due to the issue at the time. So I am happy with the purchase, the price obviously goes up with financing and tax but thats the way it goes. Sporty1200c 06-27-2010, 01:21 AM $15,200 for brand new 2009 SS last august. That was with GM discount and cash for clunker trade. Had a 1986 Chevy van. Paid $1700 for it 5 years prior. It only had 87,000 miles on it. Rusty and stuff, but was pretty reliable. I kinda miss the old thing, had room enough in the back for my HHR....almost. I didn't really want another payment but I couldn't pass up the deal either. I love the SS. GinKitty 07-04-2010, 01:28 AM I just bought my 2008 Shadow Edition for $12,300 with just under 14k miles. Got another $2000 trade in for my Saturn. Best deal I've ever gotten on a car. So happy I can hardly see straight. Daytonablue06 07-05-2010, 04:30 AM i traded my pretty much molded rank smelling dinged in every corner non working stereo nor heat/air 2000 mitsu eclipse gt with 135k for a 2006 with 74,00 1lt and had the steering column replaced for free and repainted rear quarters for out the door for 5800 bucks :-) TiggersHHR 03-14-2011, 09:13 PM Mine is a Base Model LS - only extra charge was for destination (which the dealer took off). I removed the steel rims and replaced them with aftermarket aluminum rims. I was able to recently sell the factory steel rims to another member that could use them. Added factory splash guards and running boards not long after buying my HHR. Acquired an extra grill from a local member and am working on painting it orange to match. fljohnboy 03-14-2011, 10:37 PM $21,300 was the sticker. I got 2000 GM dollars, 3500 rebate, 1000 loyalty discount and 1000 off. So that makes it $13,800. Mike Fortin 03-14-2011, 11:45 PM I just bought my 2010 fully loaded with everything but roof rack and sunroof for $10K I didn't see $10K and below on the poll. geg 03-15-2011, 03:03 AM My HHR 2006 was worth 11,000 dollars in New Jersey. I bought it from a dealer in late 2008. Shipping to Russia, insurance and customs duties increased the price of two. The final price of 670,000 rubles = U.S. $ 22,350. I do not pay taxes. Sometimes the state gives to me in court. After the verdict - I pay that asks the judge. This is cheaper than a voluntary payment of taxes. cygnusloop 03-15-2011, 02:37 PM 2011 Silver Ice Metallic. 2LT, heated leather, auto, sunroof. <50 miles when I picked it up. $24,990 sticker $24,140 invoice $18,490 purchase price SS fan 03-15-2011, 02:46 PM they were asking 21something ended up paying 17100 including stg1 installed on my 09 SS 19000mi way more than I wanted to pay but I like it so what you gonna do??;) MeijerLPO 03-15-2011, 02:49 PM $11,100 INCLUDING All tax title and plate fees. $10,800 before all fees. 29,676 miles for 2008. Lobstah 03-17-2011, 07:21 AM I got my roller skate for $13K. It had 13,900mi when I picked it up, still has balance of factory warranty...we really LOVE this vehicle. Our other cars are all fairly highend sedans...wife drives an 05 STS with EVERY option, including the HUD, the skate replaced my Lincoln Continental. We both just love the simplicity of the vehicle ;) I drive from Boston to Rochester, NY fairly often, and the skate just sips gas...which is a nice departure, especially with prices inching up to the $4/gal mark. I need to do heated seats and I'd love to upgrade the sound a bit...used to the caddy and lincoln sound systems, which are a bit better than the new addition ;) Lob sanmn420 03-17-2011, 10:51 AM Got my '07 LT1 in August 2010 for $9200. Had 67,000 miles at the time. Black w/gray. Sunroof. 2.2 Auto. Take your time & do your research on something you like.. It will pay off for ya.. :thumb: Buyers market.. goetylsd 04-04-2011, 03:30 AM I paid $6995 for my 2007 Chevrolet HHR 1LT just over a year ago at Thorstad Chevrolet in Madison, WI. One of the best decisions I ever made. My HHR has been extremely, extremely reliable. I have hardly had to stick any money into it besides routine maintenance. Now, my last car on the other hand, well, let's not go there. I bought my HHR with 91,000 miles on it; it was a one-owner personal vehicle. Buying it with high miles was a concern for me at first, I worried if it would be a mistake. It definitely wasn't. It had been taken care of very well by the previous owner and most of the miles were highway miles as the previous owner commuted 75 miles to work every day. The dealership was 2 1/2 hours away from where I live, but I did my research and I knew I was going to get a better deal if I looked further away than if I just searched locally. Local dealerships were selling similar vehicles at $2000-3000 above what my HHR was priced at. So, it was worth the drive to save the money. :thumb: kingkat4 04-04-2011, 08:45 AM 09 HHR / LT premium sound ..35,000 mi. paid $11500 private sale. Looked for about a month. Chevy13 04-22-2011, 07:37 AM No, it was here in FL. I saw the car fax. It was owned by an old person in Jacksonville since day 1. ALL of the oil changes were documented by a dealer every 3000 +/- miles. It did have an accident listed, but only a rear fender bender. All has been fixed and it wasn't given a salvage title. Everything runs and works great. |
