engine is completely stock, i really see no point in modding this engine wise, if i wanted power i wouldve gotten a cobalt ss. To me this car seems more of a looks car.

Maybe put one of those Tornado filters on it. They are supposed to add like 10-20 horses and improve fuel economy. Maybe do a dual exhaust setup.

neh, ive heard that those r crap, a dual exhaust setup would be nice though.

My neighbor has a Corsa dual exhaust on his Avalanche and quad on his Vette, and he loves it. It sounds really good. He says its quite inside the car, and loud outside.

They are entirely in two different classes. The HHR even with the 2.4L has a leisurely pace.

The only way to get an HHR to keep-up with an SRT-4 is to build a 2.0L turbo or supercharged ECOTEC out of the GM Performance Parts catalog and bolt it to a modded 5-speed transaxle with an LSD, HD clutch and bigger axles. It would help to have a good set of coilovers and sway bars to navigate corners as well.

lol, what did you expect? be wary of pt's as well, the gt turbo will hand you your arse as well! the srt4 is a great ride, i sold my 2004 to get an escalade as the srt4 unfortunately did not have the room i need for my job. the car was wicked fast.
