I don't want to hijack the thread but I have a simple question regarding video cameras. If I were to buy a new video camera, what would I look for so that I could easily get the video and audio stream from the camera to my PC so that I could put up video show?

When I go shopping, what do I ask for?

Thanks

You want a digital video camera with a firewire plug or IEEE 1394 plug. You may have to buy a card for your computer but it is way better to transfer video with the 1394 rather than usb.IMO.

Not only does Mike get the prize for best video :one: , it's also painfully obvious that he either has way too much time on his hands, or he hires professionals. Or maybe he needs to hire a professional.:poke: ROTFLMAO!!!

No. We have several different programs here. I used to use iMac's but they kept crashing on me. Now I use HP Media Center Towers and they are rock solid. The Toy video was done on Power Director 5. Great program - very stable!

I want to work in radio, Own a recording studio, A record Label, And a small martini Lounge. Yes, I am a bit thick in the head, But Eh... Planning on starting Phatties Records. Phatties is not only the name of a MaryJane, But also the name of my Brother's Motorcycle Shop, Phatties Choppers.
