dan-d 03-22-2006, 07:48 PM The dealer installed my running boards today and only charged me $458.00 for them and did a complimentary installation.
I got home and installed a set of 70" lake pipes, unfortunately I had to rely on my own bad welding skills but I think they're on pretty solid. If any of you seen me weld you would take away my welder...LOL

Mike, not to change the subject, but are the lake pipes cosmetic or are they wellded to the muffler?

Hey Dan - a block of wood under each ramp and you're good to go - just take it slow.
Holmes: All our Lake pipes are puely cosmetic. Their 2" diameter precludes any internal mufflers. Also, connecting them in front would be before the catalytic converter - voiding emmisions warraties and deeming them illegal.
There are ways to hook them up - but they are designed to be cosmetic in nature.

Gee, we only live about 40 minutes from the casino ships and have never taken the cruise. Next time you plan to come down for the cruise let me know, my wife and I may just have to join you, what better excuse could we use for a cruise on a casino ship. -Dan
