Cool you can't go wrong with Alpine. :thumb: What is that sticking out of your lighter socket? Is it a really large billet lighter or something?

My woman knows how i love cars so when she saw that it was a billet piston lighter she had to get it. it doesnt work but i like the way it looks. i smoke so there is always a lighter with me.

the digital amps and built in EQ's, in the headunit, take awhile to tune, but i must say once the are dialed in, what a pleasure. im still waiting to get type r comps all the way around and alpine mrv-f545, 100*4 rms, then this stereo will be done.

subs are heavy but yeah it can come out, to get to the spare, just fold back seats down, push subs on back of folded down seats, and you can get to spare just like you can without subs back there.

yeah if your not afraid to be a man and cut some holes.

all of this set me back $1300. wiring is streetwires 4 gu and the rcas are streetwires zero noise 3's, box was built to give me a cubic foot per sub with speaker displacement out of 3/4 mdf with fiberglass sealing the inside.

Very nice. Looks great as long as you don't need a lot of cargo space. OH, and I like the CD holder. hehe...Can anyone spare Jay a CD Wallet?

i have one that holds 300 that is full and one that hold 24 that is full that is one of my cds that i tune with, it has tones from 20 - 100. it is about done though, i think i got the tune out of it. :( im gonna have to fit a stoller back there in a couple of months so i will have to do some shopping to find one that will fit. ;)

Good luck with the stroller hunt. I bet you were wishing you had luggage rails on your HHR now, huh. lol..jk Strollers get pretty compact now. Especially if you invest in one that doubles as a baby carrier. So you should find something easily.

luggage rails are added weight, dont need that, i want to try and get the best gas mileage i can. And it seems that people that have them, some have had problems with water. i dont have any problems with water getting in so i guess that is a good thing.

That's another great thing about my Audiobahn 2-10 box - the stroller fits in the back (weith rear seats up), no problem! Last weekend I even carried my Bass amp and Bass (in hard case), back there with the pass rear seat up/with child seat in place.

Lovin' the room! :thumb:

i have been thinking about it and if i cant fit the stroller in their then the 12's and amp go into the cavi and the 3 10's go in the HHR. they are in a much smaller box.

http://www.caraudiodeals.com/images/RT10X3D.jpg it fits so well in the cavi that i dont want to move it and the carpet matches perfectly like it was meant to be there. Click here if pic doesnt work (http://www.caraudiodeals.com/product_info.php?products_id=539)

these 10's just dont get as low as the 12's and they are getting 900 watts rms. i happy with it, now to find a stroller, heck if i find one small enough it might just go in the back seat with the car seat ;)

No. As soon as one is completed we will have it on our site for sale.
From what I'm hearing, the GM LAN low-speed data stream is what's giving them problems.
Per Scosche; apparently it is different than what's used in other GM cars.

if you dont want to hear those pesky turn signals and seatbelt chims then just do it. i can still do everything on my DIC and i have no problems with the radio using the wiring diagrams found here on the site. Lets all just be happy we arent driving RX8's, those damn cars you have to put the stock radio back in so you can use the heater controls. why do these car companies have to be such PITA's when it comes to radios.

It's very simple to put the stock plugs right back on with butt connectors.
Takes only a few minutes.

My stock stereo is LONG gone now though! (eBay)

Did you sell it on EBay, Mike? And, is there any market for a stock LT2 muffler with chrome tip and only 3000 miles?

SoCalHHR
05-02-2006, 02:46 AM
No, someone from this forum actually bought it to upgrade their stock LS radio. The market's pretty dead for the stock muffler & tip - I still have mine up on a shelf here. You might luck out and find someone who was rear-ended and needs one, list it!
