Slap me and call me stupid.

We have had the HHR for about 2 months now and my wife really loves it. However one thing she missed from her pilot was the console between the seat to put various stuff in. Low and behold we are going to eat tonight with our son that was home for the first time in months. I might add he is 6'4" tall and is not cramped in the front seat. Anyway he asks what this button is for and pushed the button on the dash. Up popped a door and there is the console we have been missing. My wife and I just started laughing. It's a good thing our son now 23 hasn't grown out of messing with stuff and pushing buttons. Man we love this car. Have a good weekend and remember the Lady Vols are National Champions.

The dash console is a cool idea; I use mine multiple times per day. Here's a little tip though: never leave a candy bar in there all day (that's my own personal 'slap me and call me stupid' moment ).

Volcycle, where in Tn are you? I hail from Clarksville (a lil NW of Nashville).

Yep, our Lady Vols did it again

spare change pocket! I have been putting all my change in there for 2 months and decided to cash it in the other day. 54.35 total. I went to gas station and filled up and had 2.13 cents left. That felt like I had hit the jackpot!! Think I will keep putting my change in there.

I traded in my 92 ford 4x4 a coupl emonhts agofor the HHR. I'd had the truck a few years and could never figure out how tochange the clock on the radio.
One day my son was fooling with it and showed me! My boy is also 23 and an engineer.

My latest discovery was the ability to reset the oil filter life on the dash.

That story is almost as funny as the title of this thread...

Congrats to the new discovery...
