Looks good. How hard is the Stull grille to install? I know it has a lot more cutting and sanding than the CW one that I have.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback. Captain, I didn't install the grille myself so i don't know how hard it truly was to do or even how much cutting was involved but the installer at the shop said it was a lot of work (probably sanding time).

Yeah that would be what I assume. It took me like two minutes to cut my grille up and like two hours to block sand it to my liking. As I sanded it of course the plastic edges got sharp and I kept cutting myself on the grille. For me it was more of a hastle than anything and I usually like working on my car. I liked the putting it together part and I liked the cutting up and drilling my car part but I hated the sanding.

Looks good Chuck, all your mods work well together. Is your vehicle lowered?
Can't tell. I like the first pix, your ride looks like it's giving everyone the finger (stubby antenna) :D

Yes it is lowered, but i opted not to go with the goldline springs (which is why it doesn't sit as low), instead i chose the eibach springs (which are actually cobalt springs) and they feel and ride great IMO! Now i need a pair of those triple lake pipes and I'll be set..........Who am i kidding, after the lake pipes there will be something else........There's always something :thumb:

Chuck what brand of rims are those they look relly good, love the grill are you going to get a billet bowtie? :thumb:

chuktaylor2
04-12-2006, 10:37 PM
They are Zinik's and no i dont think a bowtie would compliment the grille, if i could remove the one off of the rear lift gate i would.

Same here. Are you going to debadge your HHR?

chrome overlays on the bowtie do make it less noticeable, thats what i had to do on the front of my avalanche

chuktaylor2
04-12-2006, 11:23 PM
Yes i do plan to debadge it, waiting for weather to clear up so i can give it a bath afterwards. Don't know if i want to remove the "GM" badges though, not that I'm attached to them i just hardly ever notice them enough for them to bother me.
