My other half is from Erlanger but I made her move to Chicago so I could stop spending all my cash at Newport on the Levee in Cincinnati. ;)

I just got my ride yesterday and I'm stoked! I love this car and can't wait to begin the transformation. I'm originally from L.A. so this ride will be kicking it Ol' Skool very quickly! I knew I could never get a '49 Merc. But this bad boy will have the look and all the attitude!:thumb:

Welcome to the club homie! I'm originally from San Fernando, LA as well. None the less. We'll be looking forward to your pics of the transformation of your HHR. I made mine a bit of classic with new school. Ie. old school scripts vs. LED tail lights... But I did take it back to Cali with the LED light kits underneath :D

I've got a good hook up back in Cali, so I'll be getting some parts shipped out here after i recover from the down payment I made on this guy. I'm looking to do the rolled visor, eye lids for the head lights, maybe some whiskers, and eventually some whitewalls with mini-moon wheels. I can't wait!

good luck getting a meet. like i said aint nobody going to do shit but flap their gums. i tried it 2 many times.either some ones but hurts, or they might have a stuffy nose,or its to cold,or to hot,or i have to go eat, or my tv dont work,or my sisters brothers aunt 5 states away is hungry,, bunch of excusses. like i said no body going to do shit but yap.

Okay, well I'm still down with driving my happy a$$ up to Frankfurt area for a meet if anyone else isn't busy waxing. I'm working 10-12hrs a day and probably will be in for another 7 day work week but I am still willing to lose a few hours sleep to meet some peeps!
