Anyone installed the Borla exhaust kit? Interested in sound and drone characteristics.

i have a borla straight thru muffler on my turbo vw, nice tone no droan, 3 in downpipe into 2.5 on back small resonator then borla 2 ft from the end, 304 stainless, it will last forever

I had Borla on my Iroc Z Camaro, very nice exhaust.

I contacted Borla about an SS exhaust... they said they want to do one but haven't had an HHR SS in for development. Someone local needs to contact them. I think I'm getting the ADM/Magnaflow though.

Is this with the Magnaflow muffler?

Yes, The SW muffler he has is louder than the Magnaflow

hmm, may be because mine was the prototype, but i notice no drone in mine, and i actually TRIED to find it. just good solid sound, and a beautiful tone under good acceleration. well, beautiful tone IMO all the time, but especially when you get on it.

be sure muffler and or pipes are not CHEAPER 409 stainless, 304 stainless is forever rustproof or 321 for high heat applications cheaper grade 409 stainless WILL RUST, magnaflow mufflers may not be 304, all borla mufflers are
