Laptop Mounts

I have been researching different laptop mounts, I still havent found one with a mount specifically for the HHR, but i'm getting close, one company is willing to fabricate a mount once i send pictures of the HHR seat mounts. i'll post the links i have now if anyone is interested -

http://www.jottodesk.net/jotto_desk_laptop_desk.htm

http://www.pro-desks.com/pro-desk-extreme.htm

http://www.a2zsolutions.com/desks/fl...tome-index.htm

The last one a2zsolutions is the company willing to work with me, i'll keep all informed as this progresses.

You might try lundindustries.com they make products similar to jotto desk.
Also havissheilds.com. Lund is located in midwest and Havis Sheilds is in Pa.

I have jotto desks in all my full size vans and C4500s.

Really like them.

I need a laptop solution for my HHR also. Dont think can have both a passenger and a laptop open like in my other vehicles, so I am thinking of fabbing something to seat back or back of headrest. Fold seat to use laptop kinda thing. Fold seat open for passenger and no pipes or racks in way then.

We set up all our trucks for GPS and internet.

I will be curious on what you come up with.

keep us posted:twothumbs

Just got off the phone with Brian at A2Zsolutions, he seems confident he has a mount that will fit the HHR, I ordered it already and should arrive by next wednesday (7/23).

How well did that stand work out for you? Been thinking of ordering a Jotto Desk and just screw it into the Floor Board. I just might custom fabricate something for the existing seat mount.

The mount from a2zsolutions worked great, had to do some modifications to what he sent, will post pics this weekend. if you Call A2Z, ask for Brian, tell him Jim from San Diego referred you, and i'm sure he will make the modifications for you.

Just curious... why does anyone need a laptop mount in their car in the first place?
