Just plugged in my HRC tuner, WOW!!! I am very pleased!! The power comes on smoothly and reminds me of a V8(almost LOL) IMHO this was an excellent investment per HP. Why wait for a GM stage kit when you can be the black or blue or orange etc sheep of the family now and run circles around the rest!!:one: Compliments to Hahn Racing for such great tech support! Aaron is great:bow: You dont just want one of these tuners , you need one!!!!!!

Why wait for a Stage kit? One word --> warranty. Duh.

Some of us like to play outside of the box, you stay inside where it is obviously comfortable for you duuuuh!

Actually, if you get GM stage kits (if they become available) and have them install it your warranty shouldn't be voided. Then again, that'll cost you more money than doing your own mods and possibly voiding your warranty.

And GM has a tech notice out on how to check if the ECM calibration is not the original GM cal.

Well some of us bust our behinds at work every day for a relatively small paycheck and don't have the luxury being able to fork out the cash for warranty voiding mods. So I am just fine being "inside the box" as you put it. Its called making sound financial decisions.

I saw that. Gay. Why does GM have to spoil our fun? :(

Likewise man. Hopefully I will get to hop outside of said box someday. In the meantime, its work work work. The military doesn't pay the best, but at least I can afford such an awesome ride! heheh.

The stage kits arent going to be that expensive. Labor is only 220 at least at my dealership and the stage 2 kit should be around 650. The guy im working with said it should put the HHRs at about 320 to the wheels and YES the warranty is kept since GM makes the kit.

if it is, then that may be the way to go:D
but I still am leary if it will be, as I stated before about the TQ limits of the auto trans......

Its nice to know that even Gm thinks our cars can hold more ponies, that makes me feel that the Hahn tune isnt out of bounds of a safe tune! I know the difference would be warranty!!!!Hahn hasnt come out with a tune for the auto tranny yet, and GM is just starting:red: to test??? I wouldnt hold my breath on seeing anything for a along while MHO!:red:

GM has one HUGE advantage over HRC, they designed the vehicle and know the PCM. It won't take them anytime to whip up a tune and a few hard parts for stage kits.

60 hp for $870 can't be beat, if those prices are close.

Thanks man. It really does mean quite a bit when someone says something like that because alot of people take the military for granted. Much appreciated my friend!

I think that we all feel and share the same thoughts as the LR has stated, but we don't say it often enough....we all appreciate the military:one:
