My to-do list has audio/video upgrade coming up after I complete the rear fender roll and the muffler. I'm looking at towards the end of this year for the audio/video upgrade. I'll be buying parts here and there and then put everything together myself once I have all the parts.

I'm going with Infinity for door speakers. I want there reference component set up. At Best Buy and Crutchfield they go for $200. This guy on ebay has them for $116 total. Anyone do business with this guy. If this guy is legit, I'm buying my speakers and anything else I can get through him.

Just don't buy the lower end of Infinity speakers. The upper level ones do have very good sound and they last along time.

Are you talking about the Kappa series? Their a bit pricey for my budget. I'm leaning towards the Reference series which are less money but still sound really good. Do you have a set? How do you like them?

I've seen this guy on eBay and had considered buying from him. Seems to do a lot of business, has good feedback EXCEPT he has had 8 negatives in the past 6-months (not great). Still, he does a ton of business and you just can't please everyone (on eBay especially!).

I would take a chance on him...

I have a set in my '03 Tiburon. The Reference series I do belive.
They where in the middle of the price range for Infinity. They are 2 years old now and they sound the same as the day I got them. Very happy with them. Also have 2 Infinity 10" subs in the back with a PG amp.

I just ordered the Infinity 6.5 components from this ebay seller found in my original post. These are for the front doors and pillar. Once I get the items I'll let you know what kind of business this dude conducts.

The total including shipping was 117.99, that's outstanding for a set of speakers that normally cost 200 + tax. We'll see if this guy is legit, if he is my audio/video project may happen sooner than expected! :D

Awesome, so you have basically the same setup I want, Infinity 6.5 Reference series components. I already have the rears, bought them at best buy with a couple of reward zone coupons. What amp, if any, are you using to push them?

I received my front door speakers today (Infinity 6.5 components w/tweeters). So far, so good. The speakers are new in the box. The final test will be when I install them. That will be later on :(
