I thought I saw your ride on cardomain...Nice setup. Man those tires look thin. How does it ride? And where did you get your kit?

The tires are small before the air kit it was not very good but the air helped alot with feeling less of the road. the bags dampen it out it rides pretty good. The kit is a Universal Air Suspension kit prototype for the HHR.

I don't mean to be harsh, but it does not look right at all. I'm not sure if it's the rims or the tires, or both, but it just looks too much like a matchbox toy. To each their own I guess. If you're happy with it, I guess that's all that matters.

I kind of feel the same way txsman but I couldn't think of a good way to phrase it. ;) Sometimes I don't think about the way I phrase thing and piss people off. :red: I didn't want to piss off a noob to the site, well at least not yet. Welcome to the site. :welcome:

Without knowing much about what items are out there for the HHR I agree with the above guys that it doesn't look right. IMHO it almost looks like a decent photochop to a stock ride. Not trying to tick anyone off but thats just my $0.02.

I like the fact that it's adjustable, and it looks great, but I prefer to have a lil more rubber between the ground and my rims. I live in the country and I could see those rims getting dinks in em....

My $0.02...

I think it's because the tires are so low of a profile...It almost looks like you have dubs. I have 18's and potholes and manhole covers seem like craters, so I know you have to be paranoid driving around town.

So what does a setup like yours cost?

the wheels are a 20x8.5 with a 38 offset, with the combination of rim width and tire size I didnt have much options For spacing to work with off of measurements and guessing. (I was told that 20x8.5 could not be done) my goal was to get it as low as possible. I will change the tire to a lil bit bigger size when these ones wear out. the air system will probably cost about $2000-3500 mattering on how you want it or what you want put in it. We are testing the new set up on mine, when it proves to be a good solid kit they will put it on the market. Usually about 3-6 months of testing.

Where did they place the tank and pump at?

they put a 5 gallon stainless tank and 3 compressors in the spare tire spot next to the battery and it covers right back up with the factory cover. I didnt want anything in my way for normal use.

Interesting to say the least, and if you like it aird, that's the main thing. I don't think I could do that in my area. I am already contemplating replacing my 18's cuz I want more rubber on the road.
