Brwbier 07-27-2008, 10:13 PM It should be posted on drivers door. HillsdaleHHR 07-27-2008, 10:13 PM Recommended tire pressure - Front: 32 psi, Rear: 32 psi c2vette 07-27-2008, 10:47 PM And 32 psi seems to provide even wear. If you are running higher pressure (like 36-40 psi) to improve mpg, you should monitor tire wear across the width, since what you might save in gas you might lose in premature (center) tread wear. stranger 07-28-2008, 04:42 PM what is the proper tire inflation recommended for the SS? i know it can affect milage. currently mine psi is about 28 front 30 rear. :D Depends if you're tight in and loose off or just loose all the time. ( it's a nascar thing) :D How about tight in the middle and loose at both ends?:thumb: stranger 07-29-2008, 04:29 PM How about tight in the middle and loose at both ends?:thumb:  four new hoops, half a turn out of the track bar, a half a pound air in the right front, half pound out of the left rear and a fresh tank of sunoco! :one: ChevyMgr 07-29-2008, 05:10 PM Recommended tire pressure - Front: 32 psi, Rear: 32 psi :thumb: Correct! Always go by the tire label on the drivers door jam. If you choose to deviate then don't blame GM for any problems such as the Ford Explorer rollovers. And 32 is COLD pressure. Cold is defined by having sat for 4 hours.
