what is the proper tire inflation recommended for the SS? i know it can affect milage. currently mine psi is about 28 front 30 rear.

Recommended tire pressure - Front: 32 psi, Rear: 32 psi

And 32 psi seems to provide even wear. If you are running higher pressure (like 36-40 psi) to improve mpg, you should monitor tire wear across the width, since what you might save in gas you might lose in premature (center) tread wear.

:D Depends if you're tight in and loose off or just loose all the time.
( it's a nascar thing) :D

Always go by the tire label on the drivers door jam. If you choose to deviate then don't blame GM for any problems such as the Ford Explorer rollovers.

And 32 is COLD pressure. Cold is defined by having sat for 4 hours.
