I am looking to put taller/wider tires on the rear of my HHR to get the "rake" look of years ago. I would leave the stock size on the front so gearing and computer function should remain the same. I am also looking for some retro style looking wheels like the old Cragar SS style wheels or similar. I want to stay with 16" for the meaty tire look. I know there is a big bump in the inner rear wheelwell so I probably can't go as tall as I'd like. Can someone tell me the largest tire size for the rear? Maybe wheel offsets also? Thanks...

If your HHR has ABS and traction control, I think you're asking for problems by having mixed tire sizes. IMO.
