This is my first turbo car and first time to get any car tuned so I am not very familiar with much. Wish I would of realized you were local sooner and I would have came and checked your shop out today. I am off on Wed/Thur so i guess it can wait now until next week....

Dr_Jekyll 10-09-2008, 09:42 PM Very nice! Any pictures of the intercooler and intake piping?
DrLoch 10-09-2008, 09:42 PM Andy,
Put my tune this morning, which is a ADM Stage 2 ......... very, very happy
I can see where the clutch would be the weak link.
What have you seen for boost with the tune I have? I was seeing close to 25 and the tires weren't too happy about it. In 2nd if I rolled into it without lighting the tires that was when I was seeing the boost pressure of around 24-25, but, who knows how accurate the gauge is. I plan on strapping the computer in the right seat to see if I can record what the boost is for 2nd and 3rd.
That is with the stock exhaust, the 3" W/O cat is on the way. ;)

esmarkey 10-10-2008, 10:16 AM Very nice numbers Andy.
Do you think you peaked somewhere around 350HP at the crank?
Just curious why so many feel the clutch needs to be better?
Have there been failures?
Everything that I have read or heard is that the factory clutch on these things are VERY good, and that there is a lot of room for increased HP.
rommer 10-10-2008, 10:33 AM HP maybe but the torque is starting to exceed what the clutch can handle and is causing some slippage.
cva617680 10-10-2008, 12:20 PM Andy, have you all played around with any automatics yet? If so want are the numbers (torque and HP)?

Considering the low drivetrain loss,I would say 325-330 hp at crank and 340-350 torque
The clutch is a weak link when you get to this torque level :(

IgottaWoody 11-01-2008, 12:01 PM One question...looking at the dyno chart it seems the power doesn't kick in till
after 55mph....do you have a RPM graph to give a better perspective of the power band? A lot of people may view this the wrong way considering they operate most of the time below 3k rpm..its better to see where the rpm gains are in each gear( which most people can relate to)

No rpm due to tach pickup problem.
May try to get back on the dyno tommorow, been a while now
