View Full Version : hey tuned guys!!!
mightymouse 10-27-2008, 11:00 PM anyone with a tune, when you are in 4th or 5th...gun it. listen to the motor. mine sounds like the clutch is slipping. if you are on the hwy., just cruise in 5th,the go WOT. is it me or is this normal,or is my clutch slipping like an old man in the tub???
camaro98z28 10-27-2008, 11:40 PM I know that clutches will be going out but what about these from Spec? I know it says for the Cobalt SS/TC, but I wonder if it will work.

AaronSS 10-28-2008, 12:06 AM I must have a super clutch because mine has yet to start slipping.
c2vette 10-28-2008, 01:34 AM Don't notice any slippage yet, with about 4000 miles since awesome Hahn/PPC tune. I have assumed that a clutch upgrade might eventually be a good idea though.
ADM PERFORMANCE 10-28-2008, 08:45 AM Your clutch is slipping.
crazysteve 10-28-2008, 08:55 AM yep your clutch is trying to take a vacation on you....and the SC cobalt clutch is not the same.
mightymouse 10-28-2008, 01:49 PM anything out there yet for an upgrade??? oh well,no more racing for me for awhile.
seems kinda early to be going out??? the majority of my runs have been froma roll. it has been doing this for about a month now. i wonder how it affected my dyno, since it ent to a 4th gear pull???

i'm sure it will start. you had your tune on your car for roughly a month? you run more than i do so i'm sure yours will start lol. my tune been on my car since late july, early august. tune went on car with around 8xx miles on it. now it's at 44xx. i don't use traction control(meaning it's off) when i'm on it. wonder if that had something to do with it??
