37 MPG @ 60 mph

I took a trip from Atlanta to Charlotte, NC over Thanksgiving. I used 93 octane gas, and set the cruise control at 60 MPH. The car got 37 MPG. I am very happy with this amount.

I drive 11 miles to work in the suburbs, with about 10 traffic lights. The maximum speed is 45 MPH. I get 23 MPG with this driving.
2.4 l eng. w/automatic trans.

This is much better than my 1972 Audi 100 got, which was 23-27 MPG.

Here is what I did on Thanksgiving Day:

NICE! If I set the cruise on 70mpg here in Michigan on mostly flat freeway driving I get 35mpg avg.

Great Biking in NC! I lived there (Winston-Salem) for a few years--biked all-over the place...
