I put less into my Z28 and ran much faster. He's also has to replace those batteries that cost a fortune. Vette didn't have slicks also and 107 and 110 mph is put put mph.. Cool for the guy but not impressed. Damn Hippies.

And where does all that "clean" electricity come from to recharge those batteries?

Here is a video of the Killacycle where the owner wrecks it.

Skip to 3:23 to get to the good stuff, or listen to all the tech stuff first.

What about disposing of all those batteries? I think it's funny when people say the Prius or Insight is the answer. It might be but they have not figured out a proper way of disposing of the batteries in a long term fashion yet...At least one that is environmentally sound...

Like Czechman mentions above - the electricity to charge those batteries comes from, most likely, a fossil-fueled power plant. Therefore, you are merely moving the pollution from Point A to Point B, perhaps a bit more efficiently. If the electricity came from a nuclear power plant, the pollution from mining and processing the radioactive fuels to run the plant have to be accounted for.
Tree-huggers are merely fooling themselves when they think that they are doing the environment a favor.
