Anyone taken the front door panels off yet. Searched but nothing on it. I want to put sound deadening in there. I assume its like most other vehicles, a push pin or 2, some screws, and then pull on the panel to pop the plastic tabs.

SOUND DEADENING? Man, the HHR is by far THE quietest riding vehicle I've ever owned. Just bought the wife a brand new '06 Accord - loaded. In comparison you can hear all sorts of external road noise through the doors and floorboards in the Honda. not so in the HHR, it is quiet and smooth.

*BTW - Chevy beat you to it. There is already sound insulation in the door panels. (I know you probably mean Dynamat.) :D

Thankx, I see the pics and sound deadening. I always look to improve the quietness, but maybe its a waste of time in the case of HHR, I do see the sound deadening material there. That's good engineering, cause it aint in my Toyota or the Nissan I traded in!
