Hi to all,
I am new to the HHR Forum and just wanted to say Hello. My name is Vinny and I live in Cerritos, Ca. I recently took delivery of a new 09 HHR SS Panel.
So far I have added a set of Russtec 2 pc 19" wheels on Conti tires. Added drilled and slotted zinc washed rotors and had the Calipers Powder Coated. Dropped the rear with a pair of Eibach springs. Tinted the windows and removed the rear wiper.

Hey Vinny,

Thanks for sharing pics of that gorgeous new panel of yours. Great choice of wheels, it really does look amazing.

We all met at A&J's today and I was told of your panel and that you lived close too. Hope to see you at some of the g2g's.

Also, are your stock SS wheels available?

The wheels were custom built for the car. Russtec does not produce wheels for the HHR. The set on my car had to have the bolt pattern custom drilled and hub-centric spacers machined in order for the wheels to fit. (If you look at the attached photo you can see how far inward they had to move the bolt pattern) After all of the machine work was finished the wheels were assembled and a set of tires mounted so I could drive it for a couple of days to make sure that there was not going to be any issues. After that the wheels were disassembled for Chrome and Powder Coating. End result is what you see. 19 x 8.5 Russtec 2 pc forged wheels on an HHR!!

Cool looking car Vinny. I'm not much for changing the wheels or suspension on the SS because I think even stock, they're pretty close to a 10 for my taste but you've done very well with your mods.

:welcome: to the site Vinny! I'm glad to see some people aren't afraid to use parts that weren't designed for an HHR! Thinking outside the box and showing that these things aren't going to the moon are what extreme personalizations are all about! :one:
