I just got my NEW 2009 black SS with 5sp manual with the AA5 option with ebony/grey inserts seats with every option including reconfigurable performance display on the center dash, I placed a order for a SS in Oct., in dec. I was told it will be march 09 before i would get it, so i went looking online east to west coast for a 09 AA5 black SS with EVERY avaliable option, found 6 auto, 2 with 5sp, none fully loaded, Dec.23 i get a call, one found, east coast, it's a showcase car 9 miles on it just released for sale to the public dec.21, it listed as used, titled to GM, Dec.22 flew to dealer, loaded car onto truck heading home, Dec.30 driving car around now has 31 miles, parked in garage till Jan.4, we now have 2 HHR, 08 LT AA5 blue/ebony leather, fully loaded, i ordered in 08 with auto trans, girlfriend now drives 08 LT auto, i drive 09 SS stick, a happy couple, after joining this forum awhile back it's the best place for infomation on HHR's, the only problem now, telling her all the upgrades i going to do to this new car when we get back home, i be driving with a smile on my face in my scooped up car taking her shopping, alot of shopping, gotta go now, Happy new years to you all [/B]

congrats on owning the rarest of all HHRs. there can't be but a hand full of these out there. i had one on order for 6 months and after the 7th delay, i had enough.

i still can't believe the GM built these few HHRs for dealer's stock over the sold orders some of us here had. rainman is the last american hero holding out for his.

I like hurst am a little bit jealous but after looking at the pics I realized yours is the 1/2 panel which means my Bright Red Panel (on order since 7-28-08) should still be the first 5sp, RPD, performance package, audio upgrades, ebony/red interior and sunroof built!
Sorry for the rant, I have never waited this long for anything and I keep hearing all the fun that all my fellow SS fans are having and I want it Now!
