Hello,
As far as I can tell, I am the first member of this forum from Wyoming. My husband & I have a Chevy 1500 Silverado and a Ford 3/4 Ton - for hauling a camper and horse trailer.
I have been wanting a runabout for a long time and have decided the car I want is the HHR though I have never seen one. We are closing in on a deal out of state & hope to have it soon. If this deal doesn't work out - I'll keep trying.

I will be reading many of your non-technical posts and hope to get a better idea of what the HHR is all about. All I've read so far is from the websites and consumer magazines.

Thanks for all your information.

What it's all about?

Cool looking and literally a blank canvas for customizing. ( You will see countless examples here )

Practical, you can carry stuff very easily. Lots of room for people and things.

Economical, gets decent mileage and requires very little maintenance and is cheap to insure.

Did I mention how cool they are?

Welcome to the forum and good luck on your HHR quest.

Wecome to the site!A great place to get all the info you need to make an informed choice on what level of power and trim you desire.
It seems like with HHRs there's places where they are extremely popular and other where you hardly see them.
Although we almost bought one when they first came out the clencher was when you could get the SS,which gave plenty of power, great handling, good mpg and sleek styling and super low insurance for a high performance car.
