Well, I am sitting at a stop light and the idiot in front of me decides to back up right into my hhr. 3000 dollars damage. The hood, grill, bumper, and ac condenser all need to be replaced. My questions are this: where is a good place to purchase genuine parts, and can I replace my ls front end with the ss front end? Thanks.

Yes you can replace the front end with an SS but it will probably be more expensive.

Not surprised to hear the cost of the damage. My HHR was backed into by an Expedition while sitting in drive way. She had no more than 15 feet, so she couldn't have gotten any speed up. Damage was just about $2,200. Fortunately the condenser nor the radiator were damaged, if so it would have brought the total to 3K.

dang south florida drivers......i swear none of them can drive or open doors w/o hitting ur car.....my SE has little dents all over it from stupid dade county drivers.......

You got that right. I was in Ft. Myers on vacation a few years ago, went to a Rib joint. Park the car and before I get out this couple get into the car next to me and BANG, door slam. I could not believe it, while I am still in the car!

Anyways, it was a Saturn Vue, rental, plastic doors, so I just said something about inbreeding to the wife and went and enjoyed some ribs. :lol:
