Hey guys, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm Chris, live in the Denver area and I bought a new 2009 silver HHR last month and I love it so far. Just clicked 1000 miles and averaging about 29 mpg (automatic). No problems yet, except for a little rattle somewhere in the dash area. Looking forward to participating in the forums! :thumb:

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! My screen name is "beachbum1970" because I WISH I could be a beachbum :) and I was born in 1970. Even though I live in Denver, I've been falling in love with the Southern California coast and beaches over the last several years. One day I hope to drive my HHR out to Cali and show her the beach :) and take her for a drive on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Yeah--I'm at the beach almost every day--even if it's just to do my crossword and watch the sailboats... But Denver isn't exactly "chump change" either!! ;)

Besides--that salt-air is tough on the paint!! :lol:
