OK - now we demand a CJ Sandwich pic; Shnog, Shaggy & Sub Sub - in that order!

2 Blacks with Daytona Blue in the middle!

A fantastic day here in Sunny Florida! As many of you know, CJ Krause is here at my shop going through some training. This gave Shnog and Shaggy an opportunity to look cool together. What many (including myself) didn't know, was that Dan-D and his lovely wife live 40 miles from me, and his HHR Sub-Sub is sweet!

We got together today at Port Canaveral at Grills, to chat it up and feast on some great seafood. We followed that with cruise along a route that Dad-D chose, which took us past Cocoa Beach, Nasa's Astronaut Hall of Fame, and some awesome Florida scenery. What a cool, relaxing cruise in a great town. We finished up at Dan-D's home, a beautiful home not too far from my own. I hope I get to some day wrench on Shnog in his fully equipped garage, a "Man-Paradise" if I've ever seen one!

Here's a few picks we'd like to share to you guys of our day, thanks for viewing!

Will, Charlie, and Dan. (And the good looking ones are Shnog, Shaggy, and Sub-Sub)

It was great meeting Will, CJ, and Chris. The food and great company made for an awsome evening out. We took a little "Show off the HHR's cruise" taking us through Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, just past NASA, then through Titusville and on to Mims. We chatted in the shop for a bit then Will and CJ had to cruise back toward the south. We had a great time at the Grill restraunt where we all got to watch CJ toss crab meat all over the place...LOL

I'm sure CJ is going to take his training with him to Texas and do some good things. Since Will isn't too far from me I'm sure we'll be hooking up every now and then. I might even have his shop do some custom stuff to my HHR.

Looks like you guys had a good time. Wish I could've been there. Too far of a drive. I've only been to Florida as a stop at an airport on the way to San Juan. I do have a brother who lives in Tampa. But I think I'll fly than drive...

You got CJ out near Merrit Island....did you take him out on the casino ship? That would have made a fabulous day. BTW - just like the saying "They come in threes". Hope all of you had a great time.

In all my HHR-mindedness, I've been remiss in mentioning my good friend, Chris, the owner of that sweet 'Lude in the pics. A co-worker and good friend, Chris came out with us for dinner and the photo session, but he didn't run with us on the mini-cruise.

His Prelude is to him what our HHR's are to us: A way to dispose of any money you don't absolutely need, (lol), and a continuing project that you can pour your heart into. The car is seriously fast, as proven at Bithlow's asphalt dragstrip, where he competes on the weekends. We're always researching ways to get the 'Lude faster, look better, and to get it safer... Okay, maybe not safer. :D
