7 1/4 x 2 1/4 about.
amost exactly the same size as the stock front and back.
CJ and someone else installed blues just like these.
I just didn't realize how much grinding would be needed. Plus it just doesn't look good with the Victory Red.

Didn't you just get these? I'll take them if you don't want them any longer.

Yes I did, and yes they would if I wanted to do a bunch of grinding.
In the other thread I posted pics showing the issues that made it more than I could do.
I just don't have anyway to grind them and am already paying enough people to do mods for me.
CJ did it and is pretty happy, I just don't have the right tools to make it work and I don't really want to start drilling holes in my grill.

You know, CJ's such a good 'ol boy, I'll bet he would do it for you cheaply if you sent them to him. He already knows what mods need to be done and it's "always quicker the second time!" Why not shoot him a PM and ask?
It couldn't hurt!

on the back you just remove the yellow part of the bowtie
break off the posts on the red bowtie, rub off all the tape on the HHR,,, sand them smooth and put 3M tape on the back of red bowtie, position and push
on the front you have to take off yellow and chrome bowtie
break off posts on the red bowtie, rub off all the tape on the HHR,,, and then put tape on both bowtie and grille, position and push
i can understand the red not matching if it doesnt work for u

Is the contour the same, since it is for a different year?

The red is WAAAY off.
Even if I used these I would still have to paint the red over for them to look good.

Mine is the sport red, which I think would match well. But, I dont have the time to spend filing it to fit, either. I removed my back one, added body putty to fill in the holes, and put a yellow bowtie decal to match my side flames, then a smaller bowtie made of red reflector tape. The cuts arent perfect, but it looks pretty good (from a distance).

Would match even worse I think.
It really looks like my red might after 20 years of not being taken care of!
