for those who have stiffer springs(eibach, goldline) do the sway bars offer a noticible increase in handling in addition to the springs? if so which sway bars are recommended?

I installed both of mine at the same time, Goldlines and TTR, so not sure which is helping which, but handling is a ton better, none the less.

I had been riding on GLs for about a year before I added the Progressive sway bar. Noticed an immediate difference for the better!:thumb:

I have Eibach Pro's on mine. Installed a TTR sway bar two months later and really helps on cornering. A very worth while investment.

I had the Goldlines on for about 9 months before I put the sway bar on. It felt a little better with the sway bar but by far the best improvement was the springs.

They are the same size as the base stock... Not really an upgrade... Not sure why they even offer this kit...

i went with the eibach's because it's a well trusted name in my book but after seeing the stance of the gl's i'm kicking myself

With varying tastes and driving habits and what people think the car should be its hard to say one way or the other which is better, unless some ( not just one) people had the opertunity to try all the different sets on the same vehicle. They seem to be all good with about the only difference being personal choice or brand loyality. Its not like we have a hundered choices like some other vehicles.I think Ive read one or two reports where someone had changed to another spring for whatever reasons whether it be feel or appearance. Pick the one that most appeals to you be it price, name or drop height. In the end theres a high probably you will be happy, especially if youve never had any dropped vehicles before. They are all tried and trued and without any consistant or trend complaints. Good luck!! Add the rear bar for even more fun!

I installed the Progressive sway bar first and noticed a world of cornering improvement! I then added the lowering spring and only notice a small improvement, but the look is very nice. Im sure the lowering improved it too I just can't say its that important.
I just baught my wife an HHR and now I cant find the Progressive Brand bar again. Any clues who carries them? Thanks. Aragon919@aol.com:roll:

This will be a better choice, as more have these, than the progress:
