Maven 05-03-2009, 07:42 PM I have Pedders springs and LOVE them, my issue with these is the fact that there is very little info available right now, AND they look entirely too much like Megan Racing coilovers for it to be coincidence. I hope someone proves me wrong. catdaddy137 05-04-2009, 11:49 AM do they fall off the rear if you hit a big bump ??? the rear look funny to me , but i don't know..this is why i ask.....i'm seriously thinking about trying the $100 ones on fleabay....yea , i'm willing to be the guinea pig , if no one else has tryed them yet....i seen no negative feedback yet on them , but that may be because you only have a limited amount of time to leave feedback on the fleabay. gcsd3742 05-04-2009, 11:50 AM wheres the linky? garagebuilt 05-04-2009, 12:01 PM why would anyone pay that much for these? there is no way it handles better than airbags. which is about the same price. feel free to yell at me if im wrong gcsd3742 05-04-2009, 12:05 PM I was wanting to see the $100.00 coilovers he was speaking of..... catdaddy137 05-04-2009, 12:21 PM i should of already purchased them...i just searched , also under cobalt...i didn't find :(, but they were on there for the last 2 weeks......EDIT.....i forgot , i do have their email....they sent me instructions for the coilovers.....their name is/was boosted creations...i tryed searching that with no luck either........fleabay has 1000s of coilovers for hondas under $200..i don't understand why so few for hhr. Redshift 08-13-2009, 12:46 PM Along the same lines, we offer KW Coilovers that are TUV (European road authority) approved. Two variants - one for street (fixed damping but adjustable height) and one with adjustable height and rebound damping. Redshift 08-13-2009, 12:53 PM WOW, would yuo take my 1st born child and my wife in exchange...Damn their pricey!!!!!!!!!! I would have to see your wife first. LOL - joking. I have one wife and that is already more than I can handle sometimes. And I just had a baby - no time for another one! LOL Yes, a well engineered coilover that wasn't made by some dude in a garage will always be a bit pricey. These have to pass strict regulations to be street legal in Europe, much more so than the US standard. If you are putting your wife and child into the car and expect to have the safety and handling to escape from a trouble situation, I certainly wouldn't want to cheap out on any of the following: tires, wheels, suspension, brake pads, brake rotors :thumb: gcsd3742 08-13-2009, 12:55 PM Wow cool you took the joke well..I'd figure I'd get an earful. And I agree. but I like how mine rides now but G/L on the sales...I might just might do the sway bar here soon... Redshift 08-13-2009, 12:59 PM Wow cool you took the joke well..I'd figure I'd get an earful. And I agree. but I like how mine rides now but G/L on the sales...I might just might do the sway bar here soon... I like joking during the day - makes my job fun. I don't expect to sell very many of these...its a premium product and very few people will be interested, but I figured I'd let everyone know about it just in case. HHR_style 08-13-2009, 02:15 PM why would anyone pay that much for these? there is no way it handles better than airbags. which is about the same price. feel free to yell at me if im wrongYour air bags are an adjustable supporting device. The coil-over shocks shown here use an adjustable spring for support instead of air. But also have the shock absorber hydraulic damping as well. Difference? More control of the suspension arm. Handling winner? Subjective to the owner but you don't see a lot of air bag suspension in high end racing vehicles (yet:D). |
