Has anyone explored fitting the Cobalt rear discs to the HHR to give it discs on all 4 corners.
Maybe it's athought for vendors!

Do a search, it's been done by someone here.

Search function is your friend. here ya go disc brakes (http://chevyhhr.net/forums/showthread.php?t=10886). if you could find a wrecked cobalt ss you could essentially pull the entire rear end off of that and transplant that onto the HHR.

Basically everthing bolts/fits up..
I did braided brake lines, so I had to clamp, use supportive brake fittings
to mate with existing line on car...

You will also need the emergency brake cables from the SS..

do you just pull the bolts on the back side and take the whole drum assy. off?

You need to purchase the rear axle SS unit too..
It has the welded plates/brackets that has the mountings for the
rear disc brake calipers...

Thanks for the replys. I don't have an HHR yet & wanted to find out so I could convert after I get mine. After yrs of 4 wheel discs (mustangs,Porsche, SHO, etc) I'm spoiled!
be back after I'm offically an owner.
