Personally I won't be able to arrive until about 1pm. But if the weather is good we should try and meet up and perhaps get together after for food somewhere! :beer::canada::twothumbs

Two chevy HHR are comeing there,,could be more,,, i hope,,,i do alot of carshows in the summer,,there great to do,,

I will be there too, but probably not until around 11am.
Arriving at different times may mean we dont get spots together, but thats not a big deal for me. Just get to stretch the legs a little more looking for the HHRs. :D

Hay whats up Andrew .

I been busy this winter Norm lots of stuff is up! :D

They will be having parking attendants there directing you where to park, first come first serve. The cobalt guys are meeting earlier (like 6:30am :eek:) and rolling in together in order to get spots as a group.

I have a health and safety work training to do that morning from 10-12. Then I'm free to head down there. Perhaps the organizers and parking attendants would be so kind to have a few spaces aside for us. We are not a large group and would only require about 6 spots. Please and thanks very much!! :bow:

Almost 1 more week and we will all meet in real! I am looking forward to make new friends and see Storm again! :nuts:

I saw one when I was test driving a black one, and normally... I don't like silver, but I was actually OK with it. The red still is VERY stunning, but the silver can be mucked with. Still thinking of two toning the car. Haven't decided if I'm going to do it with paint or decal... Paint would be optimal, but I've seen those paint jobs rust quickly.

Want the '57 Chevy swoop down the side.
Black/silver colour combo with red or charcoal grey dividing stripe.
Would tie the interior/exterior together amazingly.

Two tone would be striking and agree it would tie in the interior very nicely. Love to have that but don't think it's an option for me - nothing I like goes with red. Thinking some subtle (ghostly) pin striped flames for it instead.

BTW, the admins have set the fee to participate in the show at $15. Spectators are free.

It's still wet here in Kitchener, but looking at www.weather.ca, the radar is kind of showing that cloud mass moving north of the Tri-cities in a couple of hours.

Looks like the majority of it will pass over north of here if I'm monitoring the air flow correctly.

I'm thinking of going for a bit even if it is a bit wet. More interested in meeting the owners and their cars than caring if everyone's cars are shiney.

Hi guys I was just getting ready to head out and it started to spit , so I thought I'd wait a min. to see if it would stop but in rolled the thunder and started to harded and the hail started and bigger some of it was really big . Glad I was not on the road or at the show . Not sure which way it is going but just a heads up .

OK, I beat the lot of you to it!

Eight of us HHRers arrived, rain, wind, hail and shine... I think we must have all wiped our cars at least 2-3 times today.

Great meeting all of you. The weather could have been better, but we did get some nice sun for a bit. I really enjoyed the day, and my son had a good time too.
It got very cold later, the audio comp wasnt done till almost 6pm. Sorry I had to cut out on you guys for that. The guy running it was in shorts and a t-shirt, shivering his butt off. :lol: We ended up getting third place though. :thumb:

O it rained out.. just as we got done washing the hhr,,,,,then it was just a cool and windy day,,,....O O O prod,,,,he says he win 3th in the show,, to funny i was there and seen no wins,,,,if so ,, show a pic,,please,,

I think he's sayin he placed 3rd in the audio competion , congrats on gettin third . Hope to see everyone soon not sure about godrich , will let ya know later in week .

Ya, third in the audio competition. No pics, just a black ribbon with a big pontiac logo. :lol: The pontiac club was running it. We got 134.8 dB, not our best but still good.
The guy in the Blazer got over 150 dB, hes a regular competitor Ive seen before, running four 18" subs built in a wall.

I don't see why db is the true test of an awesome stereo?? I would think quality of installation and ingenuity and originality would have some merit as well as quality of sound. That Blazer made my rear license plate rattle and he was 4 spots away from my car. Quite annoying actually! :2cents: :smile:

The guy who was judging the cars was good. He would take some time to explain things that make you points and areas to improve or where points get deducted. I thought the show was well done overall! :thumb:

I agree, a lot of noise from the Blazer but I could recognize a word never mind the song. Simply loud (db) is not my interpretation of a quality high end stereo.

Ya, this was just SPL (sound pressure level). You see more of a homemade frankenstein type install. They also have sound quality competitions, but I dont have the money or know-how to put into that. :p:
