I need to replace my front pads. I was wondering if there are any surprises waiting for me and if anyone has a how to guide I would relly appreciate it.
I heard the nuts holding the rotors on may need to be replaced after you remove them?

No surprises, it's a pretty simple process.
I'm not aware of anything that needs replaced if you take the rotors off. There might be retaining clips on the studs, but those don't need replaced. They're just used for the assembly process.

Do a search here for replacement of front brakes, etc. There is a wonderful "how to do it" - in fact it may be a sticky. Shows pictures, etc. Pretty easy to do. Note: I do recall that the "how to" included taking off one bolt that is not necessary to remove.

I believe there another one, but I can't seem to find it.
