Two here. We are in it for the weekend!

I called this morning and made my reservations!

Seeing as how this was a camping trip I didn't know we needed reservations. Do I need to call KOA in Williams to reserve a camping spot?

I made my reservation with Renee at the number in the first post. Deposit was made and my reservations are confirmed.
I supose you could just 'arrive', but thats no garantee that you will get a spot. This is busy season and I'm sure they will be full by our run weekend.

Renee is supposed to call me today or tomorrow.

I'm trying to get all our spaces together in a "Group Area."

(that means; "a place we won't bother others so much.") :D

Count two more for us. I just got off of the phone with Rene. She told me that there are only 4 reservations including mine for the group. I wonder if some people didn't let them know they were with the group? We get the 15% discount if we have 8 sites reserved.

OK all set. reserved at the KOA. We are a few people short in getting the discount. I think we need 3 more.
Sorry it took so long for me to get in gear and get things done, but I was back in the mid west for a week. Went back to the state of Indy to visit family.
Done with that trip and now ready to make a run up north. Just hope the fires get under control.

We actually stayed in a hotel in Williams on one of our cross-country trips bringing my T-top Fiero out here from TN. On the map it looks like the campground is a pretty far piece out from Williams. I'll look at it on the map again and see. We talked about a trip to the Grand Canyon this summer anyway and it would be fun to combine it with a car event.

Is anyone bringing kids? We have a 9 year old daughter. If we come, we could bring her if there are other kids or leave her with Grandma.

SS Mike from here in tucson is bring his kid or kids. not sure if he has more than one. My daughter will be with her mom that week.

We are going to bring the boys. Thought since we just got back from a week long trip with them, we need a break for one night :lol:

I am not sure of it is a corret count or not, maybe if others have joined in the run they would post so we know how many.

NO, but the wife and oldest son might go if she can locate a sitter for hte youngest!!!!!!!

Sorry you wont be able to make it. If the wife does get to go up she is more than welcome to join in the convoy leaving the outlet mall.

Yeah, it would be nice. If she goes there going to make a day trip of it. To the GC with everyone and back. If only we could confirm the sitter issue.

If anyone is interested, there is a Motel, Walmart, Discount Tire, Chevron, Denny`s, and Del Taco. On the other side of the freeway is a Safeway, Mobil with a car wash, and Starbucks with a drivethru!!!!!,
for those in need.
