ive got my eyes on an eibach pro plus kit... comes with the eibach pro kit as well as front and rear anti roll sway bars... originaly i wanted to go with the goldline springs for the lower stance but i want something comfortable but more importaintly able to hold up under load... 4 adults and a few suitcases and coolers really illistrated how badly i needed stiffer suspension on my vegas trip last month...

id like an opinion on how well this eibach kit holds up under load... how well the ride and handeling are in general... and id really like to see a pic or two of an hhr with this kit so i can get a visual idea of how low mine will sit...

thanks in advance...

I have the pro kit from Eibach, It is a really nice ride, it is stiffer, better than Goldlines. I have 20"s, so yours would ride even better. Todd (uma)

good to hear...
it seams like most people went with the gold lines for the extra inc or so of drop... i want a nice low stance but more importaintly i want it to perform...
no sagging under acceleration or strong winds etc...
sounds like the eibachs are the way to go so thanks for the input...

if youve got a nice side profile pic to post up here for me id really apreceate it...

thanks again...

Don't rule out the GLs, especially if they are 2nd generation GLs.

Here is a shot of Dory, lowered w/ 2nd gen GLs, with over ½ ton of cargo only. My self included, over 500# heavier than door placard states on stock springs.

looks good...
i hit alot of winding canyon roads... my panels stock suspension dose suprisingly well at speed... but still leaves much to be desired... how dose yours feel in the corners with those goldlines..?
compared to stock anyway...

It feels like it hugs the corners a lot better, not as much body roll.

Eibachs FTW!!! they actually let you keep the utility of the hhr, I hauled 500 lbs of landscaping stones in the back and was not bottomed out. GLs on the other hand I guarantee would have been.

you guys have been a big help... thanks so much...
descision made...
i got an eibach pro plus kit on order...
id like it to sit lower but honestly with my lifestyle i need to keep my ride useable... not to say the GL's would fail at that... just that ill get a mean looking stance with the eibachs and my friends shop who is a dealer for eibach told me that he can replace any part they sell for free if it should develope a problem...
