TomsHHR 06-13-2006, 07:04 AM Sunburst Orange HHR Makes Cameo Appearance on American Chopper 06/12/06. They unloaded parts for the Wendy's Chopper from the back..
The Fellas  have some "SIC" Class..... :thumb:
scaleguy 06-13-2006, 08:43 AM Yeah, but I am sure that Paul and Paulie found something to whine about...ahh to be so blessed with the ability to do what you absolutely love and make a living at it...I guess that I would whine too...NOT!!!
Firewatcher 06-13-2006, 09:27 AM It's too bad I missed that but I have pretty much given up watching the show. They need to cut down on the theatrics a bit and get back to the early days. Arguing and building sick bikes, that's the ticket.
BTW - Anyone catch Monster Garage last night? Great build, great crew, very last show. It's over for now.
DaJoker 06-13-2006, 10:17 AM The HHR is owned by Nub, not the OCC boys, but still was cool to see. Hehe, called out to my wife while watching it "Hey honey, Nubby has an HHR!" She just stared at me like I was out of my mind.
FW, did catch the last MG as well. Really sad to see it go, but if you must go, go on top I guess.
DJNateGnau 06-13-2006, 10:17 AM Yeah, I watched Monster Garage last night. Great show, But I'm just glad to see it over. Cuz I hate it when they fail. F***ing amazing cars they destroy sometimes.
PS: Hector Orlandi Kicks ass!
cowboybornlate 06-13-2006, 12:35 PM I was lucky enough to catch both of them... they both turn out some great rides!!
CBL
txsman2930 06-13-2006, 12:49 PM I totally missed the show last night. What a time for my damn TVo to break down.
cj krause 06-13-2006, 12:53 PM Hehe, called out to my wife while watching it "Hey honey, Nubby has an HHR!" She just stared at me like I was out of my mind.
Arent you and arent we all on here
O6ChevyHHR 06-13-2006, 02:00 PM Yep i saw that last night Nubby Had the Orange HHR! I was like Holly S**T!
O6ChevyHHR 06-13-2006, 02:02 PM i loved that Monser Garage 54 last night Dam i want to buy it!
DJNateGnau 06-13-2006, 03:05 PM Would have been better if the '54 had been a junker that they redone... Not that survivor...
scaleguy 06-13-2006, 03:24 PM I missed "Monster" was it the '54 built by the old school guys?
oldschoolfreak 06-13-2006, 03:48 PM did you know that occ was only open about 2 months before the show acctually aired and were basically unknown in the bike world till the show!!!
Firewatcher 06-13-2006, 03:58 PM '54 Ford wagon chopped and dropped using the old guy/new guy technique. They sure went out with a bang!
06' don't ya need a job and some money first? And besides, aren't you saving for a PT Loser, er, I mean an HHR?

If he keeps his grades up, mommy and daddy just might buy something for him.
courthousedeb 06-13-2006, 04:30 PM OCC opened in 1999 and the show debuted several years later. I think what you're thinking about is that the show aired several months after they moved into their current facility, but that was about 2 years ago. Here's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_County_Choppers) one link that says when they started and a link to their official site (http://www.orangecountychoppers.com/occweb_ver2_aboutus.php). Also, they are planning on a new facility that should be done later this year or early next year and plan on having a 70,000-square-foot building which will include a retail store, garage with public viewing area, film-shooting facility and corporate offices. It'll be where the company will do most of its bike work and where the Discovery Channel show "American Choppers" will be filmed. You can read more about that here (http://www.recordonline.com/archive/2005/12/22/news-tlchoppers-12-22.html).
I love this show and watch it all the time. Those guys are a hoot...get a little out of hand on occasion, but for the most part it's all in fun. The bikes they turn out are fantastic and they do alot of projects that are for a good cause. Look forward to watching this show for years to come.

Dunno what you're on about but, They'd been open for some while before the show... I used to see their bikes in magazines before they had the show.
O6ChevyHHR 06-13-2006, 05:46 PM  Hahaha funny guys its hard being a minor , all the jobs i can gt are at Publix or Mickyd's which i dont what to do:p: . Most of the jobs you have to be 18 to work there  so i have to wait another year since i am almost 17 now.:thumb: Thats right Good Grades and taking car of your parents cars pays off, lol.:thumb:
DJNateGnau 06-13-2006, 05:58 PM Um, Wrong thread much? And what is Publix?

I am going to be as nice as I possibly can. There is nothing wrong with working at McDonalds or any other fast food joint like that. It's not about money...it's about learning to be responsible and the beginning of a journey through life. I'm sure most of the other members have work jobs they didn't really want to...I know I have...and it's not anything to be ashamed of or thumb your nose at. Good grades...well obviously they aren't in spelling or english, which definitely could use some improvement.
Enough said. If you want to ramble...please take it to the lounge and keep the rest of the threads on topic. Thank you.

:laughabov :roflol: :rof: :clappy:
And what is Publix?
A supermarket.
You know, kinda like a Target or Walmart without the clothes or other non-essential stuff.
DJNateGnau 06-13-2006, 06:35 PM Ah, LOL, Ok. I c now.
captain howdy 06-13-2006, 06:42 PM You can get a job O6, just lower your standards. ;) I see kids that haven't hit puberty working the corners selling drugs so you should have a problem finding something legit. My first real job was at Burger King and now I'm a supervisor at a multi million dolar company. If you try to get a job should have someone spell check your application before you hand it in. That will definitely help. :thumb: Now back to the thread. I usually don't watch OCC because I don't like reality shows even if they are aimed at men. I occasionally watch it if there is nothing better on. They definitely build some sick bikes!
DJNateGnau 06-13-2006, 06:51 PM Yeah, I kinda quit watching. My Brother owns a bike shop, And I'm basically Mikey all over again, LOL. Except I know a thing or 2 about bikes, LOL.
captain howdy 06-13-2006, 06:58 PM I like the serious dude that's always actually working on the bike while everyone else is f**king off. They probably don't act the same once the cameras are off. I believe a lot of what we see on TV is just for show.
DJNateGnau 06-13-2006, 07:07 PM Well, Yeah...
SIHHR 06-13-2006, 07:53 PM It does not suprise me that Nub has an HHR. He loves older cars
O6ChevyHHR 06-13-2006, 09:00 PM Hahha Funny CH , by the way i am a STRIGHT A student, I dont know why nubbs hasent done a custom paint job on it yet.
SindyDix 06-13-2006, 09:31 PM Lets get back on topic as this thread is on the main page when our visitors arrive from search engines and other links.
Tokyo 06-13-2006, 09:50 PM I wonder if Nubbs is one of us... Perhaps even a regular poster on the forum, just waiting for the right time to out-mod us in one weekend, (with the help of OCC, of course)!!

The standards have been lowered in Forida, obviously. Hell, look at me! It must be in the water...
TomsHHR 06-13-2006, 10:22 PM I am with some of the others and wanting to see what Nubbs does with the paint, I just wish they would of washed the HHR and made it shine also.
O6ChevyHHR 06-14-2006, 10:29 AM Be nice I am sure that he will do some rims and a killer paint job. Maybe some flamesnot sure what tho. OCC could make his Rims on the flowjet.
captain howdy 06-14-2006, 10:38 AM Maybe some flamesnot sure what tho.
What is flamesnot? Wait, maybe I don't want to know.

Gotta say that I'm thinking that this isn't really front page stuff either. Especially when there had already been another thread and now that there is so much other BS in it, its even more of a reason to move it.
I'm not second guessing anyone just my :2cents: .
flamesnot = boogers on ya flame job??? lol

No,no,no.........
Flamesnot is what you get when a dragon sneezes!
TomsHHR 06-15-2006, 05:30 PM Nubbie needs some teardrop headlights on His HHR.
