View Full Version : MidTnHHR Website Launched
galladanb 06-13-2006, 08:14 AM Today is the official launch of the Middle Tennessee's HHR Car Club website.
The site is dedicated to the HHR, and is sponsored and maintained by the HHR car club based in Middle Tennessee,
Initial club growth is expected with the introduction of lowered inaugural fees for the first 25 members.
A highlight of the website is the upcoming Southeast Regional HHR event at the Biltmore Estates in Asheville, NC on Labor Day weekend. A “Bean Run”, catered BBQ dinner and car show complete with trophies for “Best of Show”, Best Mod, farthest distance traveled, a raffle, and door prizes are some of the featured event items.
Also planned is exploration time within the Biltmore house, which has 250 rooms, and a group photo shoot in front of the Biltmore of the HHR’s attending.
For more information, go to http://www.midtnhhr.net or contact Dan Broadrick at admin@midtnhhr.net, or 615-319-3987.

JESSE 06-13-2006, 11:43 AM Hey Dan'l
First I like to say "Job very well done" on the MIDTnHHR website. All of us here on the East coast need to get together like that. Second I just got my planner today. 1st question- If we are not a member of the new club are we still invited to the Biltmore Bash? Second Will there be any fee's to attend the Biltmore and if so what and when? I will be going through it tonight with my wife and we are about 90% sure we will attend.
Thanks

1.) THX!!! I luv this stuff! And I luv my HHR!!!!!!!
2.) A. Yes, everyone is definitly invited. Membership is not required, BUT...
2.) B. Yes, there are fees, go to the Biltmore Bash button and click
on the Pre-register button for several different methods of payment.
(The prizes and photo shoot all require funds that have to be covered,
other wise...!)
Tonight, I will try to put up a page that better explains what ya get
for the money...
If you still have questions, send me your phone number and I will be
happy to call you. (my cell phone has free nationwide calling,
so it's no big deal!)
BTW, The more HHR's that we have there, the better prizes that
can be offered, and I think, a much better group photo.
Cya there and or sooner or later somewhere else...
galladanb 06-17-2006, 05:52 PM ** 6-17, SITE UPDATED **
I have modified the look and feel of the site.
I think I have made it a little more friendly?
Anyway, stop by and let me know what you all think.
Oh and by the way, PLEASE Go ahead and preregister for the
Biltmore Bash. My funds are dwindling rapidily. I still need to get
the major door prize, trophy's, and all of the other hundreds of
little items needed for this event. :thumb: :one:
GDZHHR 06-17-2006, 06:12 PM Just curious....why is Mike's HHR the feature HHR? I see he's a sponsor and I like his car, just thought a MidTnHHR member's would be there.
Not knocking the site....looks great!
Wish we had one in the midwest or should I say Mid-Central!:D
galladanb 06-17-2006, 06:27 PM OH, sorry.. :red: I guess I forgot it was his baby...
It's not like I was asked to use his pic, I just fell in luv with the sky and all...
I have always been a suka for good clean photos....
I will replace that pic as soon as I get a good gif of our
Amethyst baby in a rotating series, so that I can spin it around and 'round...
Or as soon as I get a clean club logo built! WECF
This stuff is so time consuming, my honey thinks she has been widowed.
So, I got to do some "Honey Time" right now, if ya know what I mean? ;)
I will return to the sand box later to play with ya all!!! LOL! :breakdanc

1HotHHR 09-02-2006, 05:22 PM Hi ya all. My wife and I just got back home from a 10 day vacation in the wonderful state of Tennessee. We went to the races at Bristol. We found a GREAT little track in Tazewell. It was great. You sure have a beautiful state. The humidity is a little much but I think I could put up with it. We stayed in Pigeon Forge and did about 700 miles of site seeing. We only saw a few HHRs but the people on this web site sound like you are very active. Good luck on the Labor Day Cruise. We got a little weekend in the Monterey Ca area this coming weekend and then a big car show in San Bernardino, Ca the following. Many good thoughts go out to ya all in the GREAT STATE of TENNESSEE.
See ya down the road
Bud / Harvey
