I have them on the front of my HHR.... fronts are hard to find, at least they were when I replaced mine.
Like you I didn't want factory since my front struts were leaking at 40K miles
I have no complaints in over 15K miles

KYB manufacture's OEM & Aftermarket.
Aftermarket ones are very good. I put Monroe sensa-trac on my Envoy and they have been some of the best struts and shocks I've purchased.

i got a great deal on some kyb rear from Just Suspension...they had them listed on ebay....i've only heard good things about kyb..i haven't yet found time to install mine....i love to find a good deal on some kybs for the front...i seen what i thought was a leak on 1 of front struts....i would think they are due for replacement since i recently clocked over 100,000 miles.

yeah, i just replaced my rear shocks last week with some KYB's, and they are great so far. much better than my old worn out factory shocks. i got air bags on the rear, and the KYB's really helped reduce the bouncy ride. they're quite affordable too, i got mine off eBay.
